  1. Beech , hornbeam and hazel .... Yew burns great when dry ridiculously hot but its just seems a shame to burn it.
  2. Most of the stitching came undone and they were just starting to fall to bits not good on a pair of boots at that price ... I believe josh had the exact same problems... So possibly they have resolved these issues as I imagine there would of been a lot of claims for money back.
  3. Mine fell apart after 3 months, replaced under warranty so gave them to my groundy ... If your hard on boots climbing Pfanner or meindle would be my choice
  4. I see Steve , They come in red though lol,I only really looked at a pair whilst looking for arbor tech replacements and opted for another pair of pfanners , the cervino woods boots look tidy on honeys site... Any body wearing them?
  5. The stein phantoms look a copy of the Pfanner boots to me .. I would thouroughly recommend the Pfanners though,on my second pair and they wear really well and feel great for climbing and comfort.
  6. It's a ripper !! Where did you get the muffler Andy, I had to walk back and cover my ears when Steve was taching it! [ame]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyXwscBgPmY&sns=em[/ame]
  7. The stihl carving bar goes straight on the 150 and it has the same chain ... It's not the greatest carving bar for the money but it does the job.
  8. Ed drill it and make 4-5 cuts if the plug is white richer the h jet .
  9. One second of a cut is a lot though Alex , its louder but its a very quiet saw any way ... I did a take down last week on a dead robinia next to a church with the sugoi got to 12" wood and waited untill the hyms to cut it .. The 150 was so slow it was painful ,a 200 on tick over would of been more effective , but I recon its got a bit more now it can breath better.
  10. No I would not pm spud he is good on advice and can explain why better than me..
  11. Rob I would not touch the carb mate ... Spud explained why in another thread.
  12. There is one at Omaha beech I have stayed at plenty to see.. cant remember much about it ...too much calvados and Stella.
  13. Stuck a 8.5 hole in mine before timing it on ash cord with a freshly sharpend chain results were good 1 second of a cut, standard was on the thinner end as well!
  14. Stubbys 390 nearly made me deaf ! I might have to get one of those mufflers , how would you define the level of porting mate? You did a great job on both btw more than happy with it can not wait to bring it out to work again... Watching the vids would of been a fairer run with timber just shorter than bar length.
  15. Wow... I would not use it for cutting over 3" ... It's painful over 4" !
  16. Why is this in the honey bros forum? I'm confused, I was expecting a how do they offer such fast and great service question

    What saw ?

Some of those 365 husky fakes are far more convincing ... Exact copies!! That saw just does not look right though.

    What saw ?

Chain brake looks flimsy , the ribbing on the handles to thin , there no stihl stamped on the side cover and the bolts look like Allen key instead of hex... And the trigger does not look right , it still looks convincing though
  19. It might bounce a bit better as its so light Steve.
  20. Tbh I would not use this saw on any thing bigger than 3-4 inch so find it hard to believe its treated hard... It's more like a motorised sugoi IMO
  21. Tidy josh land full or tub grinder with the arisings?

    tattoo thread

You have been hanging out with hadleigh too long mate.. some pics and who's doing the work?? I have a few ideas at the momment but a need a good artist in the area , lot of mates getting tats and not happy with results
  23. Any body remember you could take the baffler out of some of the first 200t exhausts with one bolt.. My findings was it lost power and was stupidly loud that would put me off drilling holes in an exhaust unless it had other mods that worked with it.
