  2. which grinder is the carlton 130? I seem to remember you saying that you had a carlton 900 at some point. ive a spare belt in the workshop for a 900, buts its probably not what your after
  3. id have liked to have got a bandit grinder but needed the narrow access of the predator. looking at the bandits at the APF they certainly look well built and if my chipper is anything to go by they will be
  4. My 8050 shifting a nice piece of oak then on haulage duty moving stone and soil at home for a new workshop and stables Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. yeah I run the smaller bollard on mine, I prefer the way it releases but it doesn't really slip and I weigh about 15 stone ive also started filing some ali away on the back bone of mine with a half round file
  6. Celox gauze is better, don't let celox powder get in your eyes Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. its because the brake system is crap. I bodged a spring on the body work of the grinder to help pull it back the other way. it was an old spring from a chainbreak and worked very well
  8. I did tell adam last year that id climb it again srt this year, but we will see what happens.......
  9. I think I had the 3rd quickest time climbing the srt tree ddrt last year, infact I think id have come second had another climber not had a second run im still waiting for my prize:001_tongue:
  10. The grab doesn't have a rotator, it's not really needed for feeding the chipper as the grab aligns itself pretty well as you move the brash and with some practice you can spin the grab when needed. It's actually the grab from my skidsteer bodged onto a old bucket that I cut up. If it works out il probably by a dedicated grab and rotator for it Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Thanks, it's made by Riko and opens about 1m Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. My new Arb digger Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. The grinder on mine was handy, but with everything it had it's limitations. It's an excellent addition to a mini loader making the machine more versatile I just wanted a bigger dedicated grinder Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Get a mini skidsteer then buy my grinder attachment Sorted Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. it is what it is.....a washing line holder
  16. does anybody have any info on these machines? goog points/bad points, avoid etc il be using it for light digging work plus feeding a chipper sometimes thanks john
  17. its brilliant!! im very pleased with it, its amazing the work a decent cutter and machine operator can get through once you suss out the right method. the jensen seems a very well built machine and is incredibly capable plus the back up from redwood is second to none considering I didn't even buy the machine from them
  18. Another point is that you can get right up to stuff to feed As with the picture above you'd struggle to get a trailer up to where we were working but with a chipper on the link arms your still pretty manoeuvrable and can weave through the trees as we did Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. good chippers, I was looking for one before I bought my 12inch jenson does it have controls to go in the tractor to operate the chipper? id be concerned about manoverabilty onsite with it attached to a trailer, the beauty of a pto machine on linkarms is you can get it places youd struggle to get a trailed machine, especially with a trailer attached as well
  20. Striped down and rebuilt the carb for my ferguson te20 in a field. got to love old school engineering for it's simplicity, not sure I'd want to do the same job on my valmet Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Valmet on chipping duty Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
