  1. started reducing this beauty today, estimated at 650 years old the stem diameter must be pushing 8ft. The spec (by Neville Faye is for about 15% off the main scaffolds. Pictures don't really do it justice but it's big when you get up on the crown
  2. Because big men behind keyboards rarely have the balls to back up what there saying face to face. If someone was throwing accusations round like that in my local about me there would quickly be a problem

  5. Been working at a national trust property this week, the big oak from this morning with the 3 of us up was over 100ft, good few days

  15. I think there was about 13ton on there. That fastrack is running at about 300hp I think. It would've certainly made my valmet grunt

  17. I clip a small DMM xsre biner through the eye on the end of my tether and clip into that

  19. Tidying up a site today
  20. Tidying up a failed Monterey pine Back tomorrow to have a scratch about, burn the stuff we can't chip and stack the last of the timber. Going to use an RSJ in the grab on the digger as a rake
  21. Grab arrived this afternoon, getting it welded onto the boom on the way to a job then it's on big chipper feeding duty for a couple of days
  22. Every team member should have a Tourniquet and Israel bandage in their pocket imo with a more comprehensive kit in the truck for when you need more of the above
