  4. does anybody have any experience with the M model valtra, namely the m120 I understand they were a fairly limited run as they brought out the n series what is the 4 cylinder engine like? would it be much cop moving trailers about? 5. If it's coming down il collect the timber for firewood
  6. 60 a month. Saves me heaps of time in the office and each time they issue an update (monthly I think) it just seems to get better. Latest development is adding customers and quote appointments from the mobile app which is bloody handy!! Think they are working on being able to fill in risk assessments on a mobile device at the moment without having to print out copies
  7. I'm very pleased with Arbpro
  8. my mog smokes alot less than it did with its old engine. the ammount of oil it used to use is scarey
  9. I got rid of my first one, this is my second. you can fit saws, climbing kits, rigging kit and other bits in the chipper with blower and rakes in the back of the mog but 95% of the time we take a second vehicle to kit in, rake up and any logs. I reckon the mog will hold 6 cube of chip and im generally less than 3miles from one of my tip sites so tipping off isnt to much bother of if its a big job il chuck the grain trailer behind the tractor to chip into
  10. Some clearance with the mog and tractor
  11. a cut down m12 bolt with nylock nut and two washers

  16. Definitely a case of getting the balance right, I usually try to take a day or a couple of half days during the week to look at jobs or fit them in if they are on my way home. Very rarely look at stuff on a weekend anymore, that was probably one of the best changes I made
  17. I wouldn't loose sleep over it
  18. My latest batch
  19. Dehydrators are pretty cheap, about £50 Usually I make it out of venison, sometimes mutton and rarely beef, I tend to use what ever I've got in abundance at the time so if I've knocked a deer over or one of our sheep it makes sense to use that instead of buying beef Tend to make a marinade of soy, sweet chilli sauce, garlic, ginger(ground) couple of bay leaves and whole grain mustard which works pretty well Cured duck breasts are pretty easy, 24 hours in salt then hang for two weeks
