  1. I have the spider 1 and it is a brilliant piece of kit! Also having the winch gives you piece of mind if working near water. Get a demo you won't be disappointed. TH whites are the dealers
  2. Haha why have you had a few problems with it? It doesn't seem to be the strongest thing in the world I must admit.
  3. I had ordered new bushes and pins for the it but never got round to doing it. I have them over to matt at Budd plant and I would of thought he would of done that. All the machines he sells are always in good condition he doesn't sell any rubbish. But obviously I'd ask him if he has. They were not bad I just wanted to get them done before we got busy in the winter with it again, but then ended up changing it anyway.
  4. Haha yeah small world. Regarding the quick hitch my attachments didn't fit it other than a flail head. But it's easily removed and then you can just manually put the attachments on. The machine was a good strong digger. No i didn't paint it, it was in good condition when I bought it. I didn't even have it a year as I upgraded from a Volvo ec15 to the Takeuchi and then I've just upgraded to that Hitachi as I wanted something I can put a tree shear on. I would say it's a good machine to buy 👍👍
  5. Hi matt I traded it into Budd plant, the Hitachi is the 3rd machine I've had from them. If it's the same one it comes with the grab too?
  6. Just traded my Takeuchi Tb016 in for the 2.8t Hitachi. Got to say I loved the Takeuchi it was a solid little digger but the Hitachi is just a smooth bigger toy 👍
  7. Hi Paul I haven't been for a few years, even though I live 20mins away from Westonbirt. I took my 3year old and had a really good day out (he hasn't taken his free stihl hat off yet), and spent a lot longer there than planned too but that might be due to the little un playing with everything in site. I was really impressed with the amount of larger kit stands that was there like the tree shears etc as I feel that a lot of tree work is heading down that route and it was good to get some info on that side of it. All in all I will give you 2 thumbs up for it. It was free for me to get in due to being a friend of the Arboretum haha. James
  8. Tree and Country Care Services are looking for a groundsman/ second climber to join our expanding work force. Person to be proactive in there role and to use there initiative to over come any problems that may occur on site. We would need the person to be able to get to our premises in Winterbourne, Bristol every morning. Suitable candidate should have a minimum certification of CS30/31/38 and would be a bonus to have woodchipper certificate. Responsiblities would range from Tree work, Hedge cutting, and Grounds maintenance throughout the summer for our large range of commercial and domestic clients. Please get in contact with James [email protected] or on 01454 250676
  9. I got both but I feel a lot better about the security of the kit when on site with the panel van. I got a transit custom but could do with a sprinter or something larger
  10. 45 degrees?? Really? I'd like to see you do that and stay on it! Slight smell of............
  11. ☝️is right, no place for a ride on if your on slopes/banks. Spider do a Mini model and they are pretty cheap. I use my Spider1 and love it
  12. Try adding Icade to the mix as well as this attacks more hardier species of weed.
