  1. Well many have said your a swine Get the kids checked out mate if that's what you think it is. There's at least 3 other users online !
  2. Well what's your excuse for being online at 02:40 ? I've just driven 6 hrs back from Somerset and can't sleep !
  3. Buzz

    A bit of fun.

If we are talking about Foulshaw I had 10 litres of bog water in each boot ! BTW had a random txt from Srg P, he's moving out in the next 10 days and wants me to shift my sofa !
  4. Buzz

    A bit of fun.

I didn't mind as i was having a rest after my first 10 litres
  5. Quite often it gets rejected randomly Ben, I've audited sites and the chips been rejected the next day. Really annoys me as @ Shotton anyway it all gets re-chipped !
  6. I'm a husky man through and through but if your buying new don't bother the build quality on the latter Husqy's is properly crap. I used to run two scrub clearance teams with Husqy's and they were always breaking down. The older 245R's however are brilliant.
  7. My house is full of spiders all about that size ! If you work away for a week it's like a horror film when you come back ! I think i was actuallly bitten a couple of weeks ago in my sleep as i had a small round bruise on my arm with a bite mark in the middle
  8. Buzz

    A bit of fun.

Yeah but you spilt 5 liters
  9. Like you say they can't specify NPT's because there are alternatives, if however there was an accident HSE would anihalate you if you hadn't fulfilled the requirements of PUWER.
  10. Spot on Dave, regular climbing is so beneficial for you I find. It's brash dragging and log humping that rips you apart. I got up a beech the other day and felt a million times better for it afterwards, really losened me up.
  11. You will have few problems with clients as generally speaking if they see a nice flashy website they are happy and most clients will know nothing about search engine optimisation. Good luck to you and it's a thoughtful offer but one of my best friends is a web designer and is very scathing of flash based sites.
  12. NFU Mutual used to state on the biz insurance in the products liability section that you had to comply with all statutory legislation. If you did consultancy work they would't insure you unless you could prove competence with relevant certification etc. The local NFU offices however are genrally alot more lax !
  13. Exactly !! Rule I'm with you on that, what the hell do you do when you have 17 years experience in an industry ! I may work 5 days a week for someone else but I'd rather earn good money when I can working for myself. If I really did re- train I'd probably be looking at teaching as a serious choice. I did alot of environmental education when I worked as a countryside ranger.
  14. Heh don't knock it lots of little old ladies are loaded widowers !!!
  15. Need to get up and see you Stevie for another one of those breakfasts lol
  16. Well done for starting the process to recovery and going to see the doctor mate. I was taking the tops out of a row of conifers when i was about 19 and hurt my back twisting in the harness. Since then i've had periods of acute back pain which have only ever lasted a few days. I just lived with it and the constant dull ache untill about two weeks ago when it went bang big time. I try and just crack on but it keeps getting worse. Yesterday was probably the worst day of pain in my adult life, couldn't make dinner, put pants on or even go to the toilet. All great fun when you live on your own in the middle of nowhere with just a dog for company lol. I have been refered to the Hospital for physio and we'll see what happens from there. Look after your backs guys !
  17. Any pictures of ones you've done mate ?
  18. Spot on Stevie, I rember having the same buzz (lol) when I first went to a show and met up with forum users. Reveloutionised the way I looked at my business. Really hope to meet up with some folks again next year once my life's back on track lol !
  19. I bet Steve has been practising for weeks knowing he HAD to come first in the comps lol Looks like you all had great fun guys !

  22. Love that Iveco, Steve's hair seems to have gotten shorter, Andy has his 'hat' on that's never off and Dean has perfected the ex-squaddie thug look... All is well then lol
  23. Tree work does not keep you 'fit' it damages your body. You may not feel it now but it will come eventually. It is important to do some kind of training or physical Core strength is the most important, a strong core will help protect your back. I'm typing this laying in bed in agony after a 9 year back problem has decided to rear it's ugly head once again.
