Very true Rich, to make fried rice you need cooked but cold rice. They normally cook it the day before its served.

Left hand drive. Good skills, and 10 out of 10 for balls, but that is a lot easier than reversing a double linkage trailer all the way out down that track. Never really liked double linkage, always preferred close coupled drawbar trailers, but that certainly shows how manoueverable they are.

Yup, but you can eat it cold or recook it, it's when you rewarm the rice you get poisoned.

Thats a recipe for food poisoning. I appreciate you are going to carry on doing it regardless, but its terrible advice to put on a public forum. Put it in the fridge, then take out as much as you need each time, rather than reheating it several times. I cook large quantities of whatever I'm making on weekends, then keep leftovers in the fridge for weeknights. Leftovers of most things are at least as tasty as the original meal, if not tastier.

I am looking for a package to use on an iPad and a laptop, a purely online/cloud system wont work as I am often in rural areas with no data coverage, but I do want to be able to sync/backup between devices and to a cloud. It needs to do the following, for 2 separate businesses: Store client details Produce a quote, in pdf, and email it out. Produce a list of outstanding jobs. Convert quotes to invoices, and email pdfs Track payment of invoices. Export data to csv or excel. Any thoughts?

Gaiters are incredibly annoying and imo dangerous for climbing. Pretty sure there are no non leather chainsaw boots on the market.

Can you get a photo of the hinge? Looks like it fell at right angles to the intended direction? Good result all the same.

You do tend to get a bit of a dribble with conifer, just as the no stress kicks in. The Timberwolf doesnt do that as the no stress kicks in much sooner, (and more often). Get one out on demo if you want to be sure.

In my opinion: Lock stitching is vital. Whipping is mostly decorative, but I quite like it so I always do it.

400 kg nose weight?! I'd like to see a ball hitch that is rated for that. It would work with the goose neck style trailers they use in the states, with a 5th wheel coupling in a pickup bed. -
Its not the towing vehicle its the combination of towing vehicle and trailer that puts him over the 3.5 tonne limit.

2 winches would be ideal, and try to stand it up before putting a cut in. If he does it, it will probably go fine. Home owners that only ever tackle one or two tricky trees normally do ok, just by the law of averages. If they tried to make a living out of it they would soon come unstuck.

I have one, very pleased with it. Good points: Chips and feeds really well. No bottom stop bar. Turntable. Chute folds for storage in garage. Bad points: Lot of plastic bodywork. (inevitable on a sub 750 kg machine) Too many electronics. I don't like the pressed steel hitch, but that comes as part of the base trailer unit. Overall I think it's way ahead of any other sub750 kg machine out there.

£200 sounds a bit optimistic, what are you building it with, old newspapers and wallpaper paste? £200 wouldn't even buy a powerpack and the hydraulic components.
