  3. My crane lorry is available for hire if you need any timber shifting.
  4. Sounds good, my parents are in Hayle so I'll check that out next time we go visit.
  5. Micro rigging?! I have a brand new 50m Yale Polydyne waiting to be spliced up, I'll post up pics when its done. Going to put a bigger eye on this one so I can put an ISC cast pulley straight onto the eye for use as a retrievable rigging anchor point.
  6. Never wear gloves for throwlining, rarely burn my fingers, never use a Bigshot.
  7. 2 questions Tim, 1 where did you get a 240,000 mile long throw line, and 2 why were you climbing a redwood at night?
  8. Depends how good the wading kit on your landy is I suppose.
  9. Exactly right Mike.
  10. Yes, or buy a bigger handbag and keep it in that lol.
  11. If I was free and single then I would go for that, £171-£190 plus expenses is ok, but as it is I can make more here, and get to see my family every day.
  12. That looks painfully slow, I'v seen firewood processed quicker with a chainsaw and axe.
  13. Sounds like your boiler is a bit over specified, have you considered selling heat to your neighbours or getting a big heated swimming pool?! Dry wood produces more heat, but only because when burning wet wood heat is wasted boiling off the water. If you don't have a chimney to tar up then it doesn't really matter how much water you burn!
  14. Yeah sure, your "friend". Don't worry butler, your secret is safe with us.
  15. I did struggle a little with the last tachyon I did, but I think I must have caught a cover strand. I almost never use a wire fid on DB, do everything with the toss wand. If you yank on that it just snaps the tether, so gentle finess is the order of the day. Reducing the volume of the core before inserting it is a good idea.
  16. Ah right, your on the final bury? If the worst comes to the worst, untie your alpine butterfly and milk a bit more cover up towards the eye, might just give you the bit you need to finish the bury, then when its finished you can milk the cover back from the eye to the end of the rope.
  17. Can be a bit of a pain. Had to resort to the wire fid on my last tachyon.
  18. It slides out easily once the core is out.
  19. Are you a MANE dealer?
  20. Now it's really cold all the red breasts have disappeared and all I can see are blue tits. Perhaps the cold has shrivelled your nuts? Even the really big fat balls can suffer in sub zero temperatures.
  21. Don't remember the price, not that cheap compared to $16 usa price. Better to ring him than email.
  22. The road tow quad chip is on an Al-Ko chassis to comply with the EU whole vehicle type approval rules. PM Pete, he doesnt always read every post on here.
  23. Nod at Treeworker sells them.
  24. No worries, my numbers 07875386674.
  25. -14 in cambridgeshire.
