  1. Will they work with my fig biscuits?( I can easily make a hole to insall it) I hate dropping them down the back of the sofa. The fluff detracts from the taste sensation.
  2. cross with what? pm me if it's a bitch
  3. The Wraptor is an awesome ride, I tried it out a couple of years ago. The way forward in big tree work
  4. Don't worry Dave, he will be back there tomorrow (cutting me more nice dead oak firewood) He's doing a great job "cleansing" the woodland path of all nasty deadwood. But we have only allowed him to cut path side. Gotta keep these ecomentalists appeased:thumbup1:
  5. Looks like a call to the enforcement office then Bob! Only a foolish contractor would not bother to determine the ownership of the trees they work on. Either that or the don't care
  6. depends how you climb. If you are going to weight it heavily, be conservative. If you are going to be gentle and distribute your weight twixt what your standing/climbing on you can go quite small. Use your common sense
  7. looks like a k9 at first glance
  8. Do you have any pictures?
  9. What size is that loopie Frankie boy? Is it big enough to be used in conjunction with the 16mm line especially when larksfooted around such a tight radius?
  10. I never found it detrimental being banned at AS
  11. At that price you would have to have rigged it & chipped it solo.
  12. Very good post Nigel. Information like this needs to be easily available. It gives the user a greater understanding of the processes and testing involved in certification
  13. I agree. It does state, however that you should be qualified and competent
  14. you can remove weight as you work your way up the tree. It's the rigging that could cause potential faliure
  15. Hollies done now - only took 11 days:sneaky2: True I would climb it. But only because I'd pay to see Bob in a pair of thigh length waders:thumbup:
  16. So I could bomb it out in huge lumps (trashing most targets) & ask for my flask to be sent up whilst they tidy up?
  17. Stunning views. Nice vid
  18. I will make a couple if I can't find any. The metal tips would be the awkward bit to fabricate
  19. I have some trees to fell on some really steep ground in a few weeks. Does anyone know where I could purchase a springboard? The only time I have seen them used is in timbersports competitions.
  20. Bear - Big fella & not quite a year old. Soft as anything unless you are an unwanted stranger or a cat
  21. Have you all considered the difference between starting a cut one/two handed and finishing it one/two handed? In my mind it is critical to understand where & when the highest incidence of accidents occour
  22. If a tree has deteriorated to such a point, where you feel you need to reduce weight in the structure, then the time taken to remove fluids etc from the limbs etc is time wasted? Surley in that time the condition of the structure will have deteriorated? Thus negating the effect
  23. Nice to see you climbing again. You finished that job for John yet?
  24. It's too old Thea. Throw it out & mix some new
  25. Yes, a few times. Some trees are not fit to climb. Tree work is my living, I don't want it to be my demise.
