  1. Thanks. This has literally been bugging me for 11 years ?
  2. I once had a guy pull alongside me on the a14, I was on my phone but this was before the time when they changed the law even though it was frowned upon. He was flapping his arms angrily because I was on my phone then proceeded to take his own phone out and point it towards me to take a photo. This was all at 70mph. Idiot
  3. I worked for a company several years ago who got done over big time. Their reaction was to do much as you've done, massive amount of security including digging a massive trench the field side of the yard. Took him a good 20 minutes to get into the place every day.
  4. Absolutely it does. Even to the most productive members of staff
  5. Have you tried asking the dealer you got it from if they sell repair patches? I know Pfanner do patches or at least used to, perhaps Oregon do also.
  6. Feel for you. As a freelance climber I worked for a number of firms over the years and every single one of them had exactly the same problem. That was the main thing that made me stay freelance, for better or worse. I know I couldn't have put up with that stress though. Theres no answer unfortunately, other than paying more money. Even that doesn't necessarily guarantee you good staff though. Some just get lucky and pick up the odd good man. Its rare to find an entire company that only has good staff though. In fact I can't think of a single time I have worked for someone who didn't have at least 1 weak link.
  7. I think a finders fee is a good idea, or what incentive do they have to put the work your way. 50/50 is unreasonable though, unless of course they put twice the price on it that you would have. Your suggestion of 10% seems reasonable to me, again assuming they priced it right.
  8. @David Humphries patch seems good. Are you looking at inner city trees? Is Kew on the agenda?
  9. Thanks for that Matt. I set that new category up wrong. Its fixed now.
  10. Hi Matt, Can you tell me where exactly you were getting errors so I can look into it please?
  11. Only one mast at mendlesham
  12. what chainsaw is it? Impossible to say what bar will fit without knowing the model
  13. Did you get a chance to see the big morbark on steel vipers stand?
