  4. Hi, I'm struggling to ident this conifer in the garden. I'm thinking it is either a Chamecyparis or Thuja plicata. It is a large straight conifer,crown mostly at the top with ridged red bark. I was originally thinking Thuja but the foliage and cones has me leaning towards Chamecyparis. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers Jim
