  1. This tree could also have suffered from the wet conditions it got this summer where it is growing.
  2. Could it just be Salix caprea ?
  3. I believe I planted a Quercus coccinea there, but for some reason, what is growing is definitely something else. What can it be ? A Juglans nigra ? Some sort of Carya (like Carya cordiformis) ?
  4. Is this tree an Acer hyrcanum, or just Acer campestre ? Or another one ?
  5. This tree sapling looks like a sorbus (Sorbus aria or thibetica perhaps), but the leaf veins do not match, so, I was thinking it could be something else, like Malus tschonoskii . Any idea ?
  6. Thank you very much, very helpful
  7. or just some sort of Prunus, like Prunus avium ?
  8. Is this sapling a plum tree (Prunus domestica) ?
  9. What can this be ? I was thinking Celtis occidentalis.
  10. Any idea what this young oak might be ? Quercus cerris ?
  11. Not sure what this young tree is. Is it Salix caprea ?
  12. Any idea what this sapling is Is it Acer rubrum ?
  13. It's a 5-meter tall tree, the picture were taken in June in a park in Ireland.
