  3. I wondered that actually as the bark was a little cork like
  4. Not sure mate. Everything was in Leaf still
  5. I was thinking some sort of oak tree. This was a good 80ft
  6. A massive thing here in the uk, with most arb companies running significantly overweight on a daily basis. Another thing the tip site directory will cut down on, the need to overload your trucks. https://trans.info/en/british-systems-catch-overloaded-trucks-see-how-they-work-108579?fbclid=IwAR2MtONO_Ibx92G97KLFtxEee-yhxLWasMdB7WX9V-2fpPJkPnQGFbOyObM
  7. On the job, after mostly from reading online. Its not rocket science
  8. So put your prices up. People will only pay you £100 if thats what you are charging. My advice would be to whack your rates up to all but your most regular(1) customer so you have some work, then start charging at least £160 per day to any other callers. Eventually you can drop the £100 guy if he doesn't want to up your rate
  9. and yet your answer was still completely wrong ?
  10. Can't hurt to put your name out there. Knock up a website for emergency tree care nationwide and leave it to do its thing
  11. Not sure theres a massive market for something like this in the UK. I know in america there are plenty of 'storm chasers' but here such work is few and far between, with most companies being perfectly happy to take it on themselves anyway. Admire your enthusiasm to challenge yourself though ?
  12. Based on my observation of your posts in the past few years and your inability to accept anyone else’s opinion over your own isnit worth my time? Anyway if you go back to the start of the thread you would already have read my more accurate and dare I say it ‘based on real life experience’ assessment
  13. Outside at 11pm in a tshirt mid October. What’s going on?
  14. Anyone got an image of a truck with chip box in the process of tipping? Needs to be a side on view or as near to as possible. No sign writing will be displayed anywhere. I simply need an example to show my graphic designer
  15. Quite a good video here running several tests on using a zigzag with a rope wrench.
  16. Welcome Natalie, Theres a surprising amount of them out there. Theres several on here, including several whose names don't particularly give away their gender
