Well, its all relative in it..

If your GF works in a hospital she's mixing with doctors nurses, surgeons, an all manner of professional people who's spent years studying their respective fields...

I don't suppose she holds a tree choppers job in high regards..

- What my girlfriend said to me this morning

And while for some, there is more to it than that, for many that's a pretty accurate summation

Otherwise what Mull said

My wife has seen us in action on gnarly takedowns and just said things like 'stupid' and 'dangerous' and wandered off to buy a latte for £4.

She doesn't know, doesn't want to know.

I've rarely quizzed her about her fascinating accountancy career, like.

My mrs organises medical conferences. That's literally all I know.

you are neglecting her needs! now you are moaning on social media wanting attention she is not giving you.

Take the hint and take her out for a meal, buy her cocktails and tell her she's beautiful !

But make sure she knows you are putting off a lot of very important work and how hard your money was to earn but she is worth it and the new saw can wait. She comes first, always ! :)

My misses knows how hard I work as she has been on jobs with me. Mind you she is a better groundswoman than some lads I've work with.

She is a gardener and grafts pretty hard too. I guess I'm bloody lucky to have a misses who understands and is enthusiastic about my career as I am hers.

But as said before just ignore it, you can't teach people who don't have an interest, you'll just be pissing in the wind.
