It’s easy for you to spout your guff too!

Food bank use is on the rise because they are available, as Marcus says.
People have their priorities all wrong! Food is far too cheap! The gov. should tax luxury items and fast food shite!

They do tax those things it’s called VAT!

but you’re right when you say food is too cheap.

Which goverment only wants one term so kills farming subsidies?

Now now your looking at the big picture!

which government wants to make working classes vulnerable in such an obvious way and lose votes for a generation?

If you're on ya arse you need a bling'ish phone to get work. Ask @silky fox. He, with years of experience, had to reach out to a forum to find work. How do you leave contact details, send/receive emails, or send out a CV if you ain't got a phone?

We all know there are scroungers out there, but picking up on someone having a phone makes me laugh.

Wes perhaps if people cut their coats according to their cloth they wouldn’t have to use them!

Completely agree but in a world of credit and false economising it ain’t going to happen, we are in a generation of take now worry later.

Raising food will will raise the number of vulnerable.

You may not like that, heck I don’t but it’s the way it is.

It’s happened......I agree with a lot of what matelot is saying (about farming/farmers,the other stuff not so much!). Custodians of the countryside? Half the farms ive worked on/been on are an environmental disaster zone.

I don’t think anyone believes that “custodians” bit anymore. It’s intensive farming (for most anyway) to try and make it pay.
