Some state schools have shite teachers mate.

It’s not all about your natural intelligence.

I was lucky, my state school had good ones.

Some private schools clearly have poor teachers as well.

A few of my posho mates were undiagnosed dyslexics pretty much until they left.

A posho mate down here is currently spending £80k/year on posho education for his kids.

He can well afford it, and they’re nice kids, coming along grand.

Very polite, maybe a bit precocious, but in a nice way?

It’s all about the connections, apparently.

I just think if you’ve got that kind of dollar your kids aren’t exactly going to fail in life, are they?

FWIW I very much doubt the RAF discriminate in any way on pilots jobs.

Best man (or woman) for the job, simple.

Ridiculous combination of brains, reflexes, vision, hand-eye coordination, mental strength, physical ability to withstand G’s, language skills etc.

They will just take the best.

They have to.

I applied and failed because my knob was too big to fit in the cockpit of a Eurofighter.

THAT’S positive discrimination Stubby!

Lying tw@t, I’ve seen it.

I would however suggest, and rather strongly, that the dice are now decidedly unfairly stacked against the bright children from the fee paying schools, in favour of the genuinely  less bright, especially if female/lesbian/black/disabled/alphabet soup types getting to attend the elite universities.

Our PSNI watered down the entrance standards, but only for woman and RC's while blocking better male candidates from a Protestant background, while also fastracking promotion for those favoured applicants up past better males with Protestant backgrounds. And the PSNI is now a shambles. All these "positive" discrimination schemes do is cause division, mistrust and envy. Where even if a lesbian/disabled/woman was actually the best candidate we all think, "hmmm, I know why she got that job or promotition".

I rather successfully wound up our female HR officer by saying that we all discriminate, in our choice of where we live, the cars we drive, did she drive a Skoda, or cough cough, perhaps a BMW,  etc etc etc.

Exclusive: In an essay for The Telegraph, former PM stands by her policies and criticises Rishi...

Sour grapes or an indication of the reality of who is pulling the strings , and who benefits the most from our current high tax high interest and massive state spending !!.

Absolute Cnut, she miss read her own party, her own party brought her down. She’s blaming the left wing of her own party of bringing her down. Tw@t, nothing more, nothing less. Yet The Times still give her time.

She might have been a cnut, but in a contest between her and the puppet rishi.

Cnut was atleast voted for by the party.

From what I've read rishi isn't popular with the members, supposedly a huge financial black hole in membership fees since he was elected or became the chosen Wef stooge.

If you read any of the article, it was the financial market reactions that effectively ousted her.

Rishi and pals, including uncle Joe.

Rishi is currently trying to get a global corporation tax level, tax for thee not for me.

You should be awarded the brains of Britain.
