Is it my suspicious mind, or is the reason Boris won't close all the schools because he knows the teaching unions will pull their members out and he can say, well I didn't close the schools, the unions did?

No idea, but tell them they stop being paid the minute they walk out and we’ll soon see if their convictions are so strong.

Yep, we'll not pay politicians who should be sitting tomorrow but voted to have another week off because the house isn't Covid safe.

Just reread my post several times can you let me know where I said it was boring me or I mentioned your wife and statistics in the same sentence???. I don’t think I’m ****************ing anyone as you so eloquently put it but what I don’t do is throw out abuse from behind the safety of a keyboard.
Really????!!

Again yes, the bit I don't get is, if those extremely intelligent people in the house can't be  safe by social distancing how do they expect children at school to do so?

Because we’re taking about completely different demographics. Generally those in the house are coffin dodgers and I’d say nearly all are in the “at risk” category.

Clearly children are not and these days teachers all seem to be in their 20’s. If there is any in the “at risk” group they should make a decision if they are willing to take a personal risk for the sake of our children’s future or not take that risk and throw a whole generation on the scrap heap.
