Output by the 'sick man of Europe' decreased by 0.8 percent compared with the month before, according to seasonally adjusted figures from statistics agency Destatis, after a 1.4...

 

Who'd have thought Brexit would have had such a positive affect? Germany regains the moniker 'the sick man of Europe' when pre-Brexit it was the powerhouse of Europe. Germanys experiencing a significant drop on output where as the UK is seeing very strong growth at 1.8-1.9%. 

 

Perhaps this significant decline in Germanys fortunes could be related to Nord Stream inexplicably blowing itself up but then perhaps instead of laughing at Trump when he told them not to rely so heavily on Russian oil they should have listened. 

 

A swing to the right is badly needed though and thankfully in countries like Germany and Sweden they're finally waking up to this reality.
