Yeah - Labour did everything possible to undermine and delay any implementation of the Rwanda plan (purely for political one-upmanship), and discarded it untried as soon as they came in to power, whilst lamenting the costs spent to no avail (largely because of their boycotting tactics). And now they have zero alternative deterrent, even though the hard  work and investment had been done/spent. Pricks.

Could not agree more, even the prospect of Rwanda becoming operational was having an effect a few month back.

As you say a straight trip from the beach to the airport and onwards to Rwanda a few times would have sent the message big time. Labour as stated voted against every single thing they could to scupper the tories, regardless if it was for the good of the country. We are now in a situation where we are both powerless and have no political will to defend our borders from what is nothing more than an invasion that the tax payers are picking up the tab for. It’s a ****************ing national embarrassment quite frankly.

Rwanda.... so we accept asylum seekers from there as genuine claimants that the country is unsafe and on the other hand send them back saying "no, it is a safe country" or... paraphrase.... cheapest option.

APPLE.NEWS

The number of people who have made the crossing has passed 150,000 since 2018 when records...

For all the fools a simple question, where does it stop ??. When is enough actually enough seeing as we have the highest level of illegal unvetted immigration in Europe.
Come to think of it where is the nearest war zone these people are escaping from, how many conflict free safe countries do they need to cross through to get here ???.

Well Saturday I had a good day, took sone firewood out, went back to yard and loaded wagon with approx 5 tonne of timber to deliver in morning for customer to cut n split his self , then had a hour in building splitting logs,, called in aldi on way home and that's when the day went sadly down hill fast,, 4 young coloured lads 20 25 ish in front of me laughing a giggling like school girls and I presume taking the piss out of people as they walked round, then one who was stood in middle of isle with his phone up infant of him videoing and talking to phone, as I passed him he said to phone this is my new bennifit phone,, then when I was at check out they was on self check out still making plenty of noise, I looked across like everyone else did and noticed they where all dressed in nice clean new tracky bottoms  trainers and decent coats, I just thought to myself it's silly c -  -  - s like me working Friday sat sun Mon between Christmas n new year to pay for the up keep of these people who are o  a free ticket, now that got my back up, every year fir years I have made a point if putting 30 40 in RNLI box and same in air ambulance but RNLI won't be getting any this year as its all being used in the south east corner of the UK rescuing the dingy,s and I dont really want to help there case, sooner starmer is out of number 10 the better,, we need a big change ASAP,,

I’ll put an extra £50 in the RNLI box this year then.
Just to make sure my friends who volunteer and risk their lives on the Eastbourne boat can get access to the best kit, and hopefully continue to save lives and rescue people in distress.
I back the Kent air ambulance too, don’t live in the UK anymore but someone needs rescuing from a RTA or Forestry site everyday.

My donations are voluntary and I don’t have clauses which dictate which human they save or let die dependant on the colour of their passport.

Saw the word Crusade used earlier. It is a good word and I think applies well to you JohnsonD, the incessant, never varying posts about your 3 or 4 favourite subjects. I assume the constant posts on here are you trying to change our minds? Never going to happen - as a whole the forum is not made up of impressionable 12 year olds, but actual adults who have formed an opinion that probably won't change (apart from you and your posting style, the childish insults and name calling, you can tell the others are adults from their writing styles. Most writing styles also hint at intelligence as well! I digress).

Anyway, crusades.... I am not sure what your goal is here, are you hoping that one of your imagined disciples (they don't exist) are going to be sat on a tree one day thinking "you know what, this tree will scare the immigrants, must remember to take it off to Heathrow, scare them as they land" or perhaps "I've got massive piles, I wonder if woodchip on the white cliffs of Dover will be quite worrying".

Thought not, so perhaps your posts are wasted here... try something new, something fresh and different that people will engage with positively rather than slating you at every turn. How about scrolling to the bottom of the news feed, the 'Also' section, the little news stories we might have missed rather than the BBC 1.. which to also be honest the adults will have seen anyway, or heard about driving about.

You could then reserve your energies talking to the 'fools' - the politicians, to put over your strong views and energies, and perhaps to suggest sensible solutions rather than "Bung an odd tee near Heathrow to scare the immigrants" (which is about all we can do as a forum). I am assuming here of course that you are doing more than incessant posts here and perhaps engaging with the local and national politicians and other relevant agencies... or are you all mouth and no action, shout shout shout about something all so very important to you but not actually doing anything.... a very shallow type of action.

Anyway, that is a lot of words, probably my full weeks worth or interaction with you, I know you struggle to read past the first name check and the last line before the red mists descend. I am probably going to be called a cuck for this (not had that insult for a while, time to dust it off and use it again?). But for the new year, change up the 'making the news today' posts perhaps, something fresh, something interesting, something for the forum to talk about? Very much doubt you will be we can hope.

You are right Stef that’s a lot of words or gas 😂

I was hoping you’d answer the question about nearest war zone in amongst all that waffle.

No, just trying to find your motivation for the continuous "making the news today" links that was making the news yesterday, the day before, all 2024, 2023, 2022.... and continuously documented and highlighted by you. I am wondering if you think that we can actually change that with the work of an Arborist (which is the forums over riding aim). Wonder if you honestly believe that a tree will scare an immigrant - I know that the Belgians are weird, but scared of a tree? Surely not.

Second to that the question, outside of this forum what are you actually doing to change things? That might be beneficial to those who feel the same but are lost as to what to do - you are setting yourself up as an expert here (deluded in my view but...).. so what are you doing outside of all these hundreds of posts that might actually make a difference. You are doing something apart from spamming 'making the news today' with the same news story every day? Even butting in other stories that are actually being talked about to shout "Hey look, immigrants happening"... so second point... to highlight what else you are doing so others can follow?

You are doing other things aren't you and not hoping that a pile of nicely milled boards will be enough for an immigrant to say "Look, JohnsonDs got it covered, lets try Japan instead"

(however my suspicion is you are all keyboard warrior with no balls to do much else)
