You frequently allude that it's not just the tories, but all politicians "from successive governments" who are scumbags, why do you act surprised when the SNP and labour politicians turn out to be wronguns?

I've never seen you have a go at a tory MP on this forum, why's that?

It doesn’t surprise me one little bit, where did I actually show any surprise ??, very difficult to “act” surprised via a post I’d say !! have I not recently stated that this country has been let down by successive governments of all colours Mark, is that not specific enough ??. Did I use the word scumbag ??
PS you still full of admiration for Sturgeon’s SNP and fancying a move up north 😂

As I understand it, getting the thing off the launch pad and upwards was the main objective.

It was never going to the moon.

No idea where it was going . So that was deliberate then ?

Not deliberate, per se.  It failed to dump the boosters or something.
But from what I’ve read it wasn’t a disaster.

Getting it off the ground was the key part.

It's been the SpaceX ethos from the start that you can't make an omelette without breaking a few legs, they always lose a rocket or two in the development phase. The valuable data obtained before smithereenisation will help future rockets to not explode

It's the Tesla ethos as well, probably an Elon Musk thing. He's the same with making cars. If there's a long established way of doing something then he'll deliberately go out of his way to try other approaches. Most of which fail but all the time he's gathering valuable failure mode data and eventually finds a method/process/technology that is superior to anything else. Got to admire him for it, constantly pushing the limits. He is an A-Hole though!
