Perhaps, instead of trying to get them to stop, we should be encouraging him to launch more, from his own patio preferably.

I used to get stuff stolen from my yard, so I got a GSD, but I've had nothing stolen since getting the dog and he's expensive to feed, so as thefts have stopped I think I'll get shut.

Im not convinced a nuclear deterrent is going to prevent a rogue nutter like kim jong from launching his own nuclear weapons.Lets be honest here,as soon as one country launches it will only take minutes for another to launch a retalitory strike-in that case were all goners.

Anyway that aside i did say only take a portion of the cash to renew trident and improve our military and police force.

realistically though if we stop renewing trident, we could use the money to better tackle the terrorism issue, but we would just open ourselves up to different threats, and frankly I would take terrorism over nuclear war any day.

 

I dont think you can beat terrorism with an army , NI and Afghanistan are proof enough of that. Intellegence and a very small special forces team are all it took to put an end to Bin Laden, bombing the crap out of the place and years of military occupation failed miserably.

I understand the need for a nuclear deterrent but the cost of these subs is completely mind blowing.

 

Excuse my ignorance, but is there no other way that these nuclear missiles can potentially be dispatched? Are all other countries' nuclear dererrents in submarine form?
