I quite like deadwooding large trees, mainly beech. Only when there is time on the job to relax, move about the tree and do a good job. Doesn't happen very often though.Makes a change from the bish bash bosh we usually do.

 

For me it has to be the thinning of a Lime tree . Silky in one hand whilst listening to my iPod . Oh the joys :thumbup:

The sound of hinge wood fibres pulling like a creaky door, then the BOOM of a big tree hitting the ground exactly where you wanted it having made perfect cuts.

Don't think I'll ever tire of that.

Getting paid and putting the cheque in the bank and waiting for it to clear so that my wife can spend it all on hundreds of £5 "bargains"..... oh wait what?

 

That is soooo old school, the best part is when the phone pings with an email conformation if instant payment, lets the wife get about those bargains all the sooner. :laugh1:

the cleanup .When i can leave a clients place tidier than when we got there

 

sometimes it is great to shame the really messy buggers too
