Here's where I stand. This has been in my wallet for a couple of weeks now. I buy about 2 scratchcards a year but don't do the NationaLottery Jackpot thingy...I'm a bit of a realist on certain matters and when I found out the odds of winning the Jackpot were the same as being struck by lightning 4 times in one day..........I realised I probably wouldn't win it....so I don't do it. When I by my bi-yearly ticket, I keep it safe...occassionally remembering I have it and if....just if that chance I might just......win! Gives me a little glimmer of pleasure at what I could do.....and for me its a simple dream.....donate a chunk....give my family a chunk....and buy a truck and chipper so I could live the rest of my life earning a decent living.... when I do decide to scratch it I have a particular way (which annoys the hell out of my son), I scratch a small portion and return it to my wallet....it can sometimes take me days to completely scratch it but in that time depending on what is revealed I can dream every time I think about it....Strange behaviour I know...but that's me.....Money probably wouldn't agree with me......and this gambling habit costs me about £2 per year!

You know there's a time limit on a claim? Imagine the thought of having a winner and not getting the payout because of taking too long about it!

Never won a single penny. Spent £60 or so perhaps. I only buy lucky dips - perhaps someone above was right when he said they're fixed to be unlikely numbers!

Then again, the way I think of it, I'd never choose the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6 - cos clearly that's never going to come up. But the chances of those 6 sequential numbers coming up are the same as any other 6 numbers coming up! I.e. there's so little chance of winning!

Same single line of numbers every week since it started and won a total of £120. My Grandad couldn't stop winning it, he had countless tenners loads of 4 number prizes and 5 numbers once that paid just under £3500. One Sunday morning i went to see him and found him laying on the kitchen floor after he had fallen, whilst he was laid there waiting for an ambulance he asked me to turn the tv on and check his numbers from the previous night and he had won £25. Sadly the fall was a broken hip and he never recovered from the operation. I never cashed the ticket and now have it in a frame on the wall.

Thats a really good story.

I normally take about a week to scratch it completely Dan so would know in good time to claim...bit strange, but that's how I roll.
