been a pretty dry winter here

I have never known such a wet winter, even our sandy soil is waterlogged. Devon was the wettest county in the Uk in March.

Brilliant today though, had to cast a clout around lunchtime.

Grey and over cast today cool to start with . Supposed to warm to tomorrow . At least it did not rain .

My brother in Exeter said it was nearly 20c there. We topped out at 5.6c here today, with dampness, grey cloud and a stiff easterly.

Crap here again! 2 days without rain in about 4 months I think and they were both last week!
Everything wet through can’t get anything done. But next week supposed to be dry and about 18 degrees with some sunshine. Not really sure if I believe it!

another 5mm of rain today it will take a few weeks to dry up before its possible to get on the land
