Absolutely awful weather here. Steady, heavy rain. Cancelled work, and we've had over 30mm already today. Nearly 30mm yesterday too, as well as a lot of thunderstorms.

I told my lads to knock it on the head an hour ago when I noticed their mood had changed,unrelenting rain since first thing.

Raining sideways here and lots of it! Did a couple of jobs earlier and a quote but got piss wet through and mate a lot of mess!

Noticed the farmers are still irrigating the fields too which seems rather pointless!

Tomorrow is another day and looks to be much better................

That would be annoying even in perfect weather!

 

Well we sacked it in, the rain was one thing, but the 40mph gusts were making it impossible for me to chuck the tops of the leylandii hedge I was reducing the right way.

Sacked it of here, got everything serviced and let the guys go at 2pm. Still cap and now really windy.
