Whats the weather like near you?

Extreme gusts here, just seen a panel van blow over in car park... Not forecast afaik and I'm not joking

From the met office:

An area of very strong winds will run over Cornwall and Devon this afternoon.

 

Gusts of 70 mph are possible along the north coasts with locally 60 mph inland before winds ease a little from the west, though it will remain gusty.

 

Some localised disruption to travel is possible with tricky conditions for high sided vehicles in particular as well as some spray and wave overtopping along exposed coastal areas.

 

They're not wrong then!!!!

Yes it's been a bit wild in the showers. Been walking on the moors with horizontal sleet
