Seen this Tree Bumblebee today. Haven't seen one in the flesh before as they are fairly recent migrants

We had a colony in a bird box in the back garden. They have sentries flying round the entrance to keep a look out. I left them to it and they disappeared after about 6 weeks.

Any ideas on this little fella? It has the look of an ichnuemon wasp, maybe :confused: it's spent the last week going round the house with its antennas manically wiggling on the walls and plants...

I would agree. Ichneumon suspiciosus would be my guess.
