You cannot have a biased scientist , as all work is evidence based, peer reviewed, etc. Any scientist not using correct methods or postulating error will not be a scientist. Or certainly not get far. Error is the key here. You publish a paper and indicate the margins of error. If small and within a limit that proves the result , yr there. It's beyond most of the Public to get this, but then people want answers NOW , which ain't scientific.  K

Dr Mengele was a scientist who worked for the state.

Does anyone know is grass still sold in ounces, quarters, eighths etc?

Used to be able to exchange a joint for a kiss and a cuddle and maybe more in the good old days PM (pre marriage!)

Not sure what an eighth of a consummation means in practice though

..... Along with Werner von Braun, who did much to push forward the nuclear weapon program....... Who then worked for the US state ?  K

Were he not the father of the US space programme he would have been tried as a war criminal for the slave labour used in his project

I think by war's end the german nuclear effort lagged severely behind.

It was a Hungarian, Szilard, that was the instigator of the atomic bomb but it was his persuading Einstein to make a direct approach to Roosevelt that got the Manhatten project going and Truman's right wing bigotry that led to the Windscale disaster.
