It won’t stop me CATCHING it, but it would help me stop SPREADING it, if I get it.

So you can still catch it through a face covering, but you can't spread it through one ?! And that sums up the pointless need for it.

No . You stop spreading it through your mouth if you ware a covering but if someone who has it does not ware a covering they can give it to you THROUGH YOUR EYES . Its the easiest way in to your body . Nice and most .

Most masks ppl have on have open sides do you really think you would not spread it wearing one of those your obviously an idiot if you do and like already sed by plenty the ones there wearing wouldn't stop dust coming through so why are they gonna stop a virus and like above if it's true about eyes a mask is totally useless

If people think that wearing a covering is going to "get things going again", they are in a dream world. The closed down shops and ruined businesses are gone. Poncing around with your pants on your head won't be helping them!

its kinda ironic all these arborists whinging over wearing a mask,  everyday arb gear worn to improve safety is not exactly high comfort is it (despite the cool write up on the website!)

i wasnt that keen on the whole mask wearing thing but an unseen event mean i had to travel on an airplane and spend time in a hospital, sure it wasnt so comfy but totally do able.

masks might not be 100% effective all the time but better than nothing( seatbelts arnt either but you still always put one on! )

I was just about to post something similar....For well over 20 years i felled timber in jeans , clogs and no helmet, then PPE came along and i hated it, however.

The ironical thing is that were some of those that are objecting to a mask for a few minutes to see a pic of someone cutting without PPE they would be on it in an instant.
