I think there is many facets as to why we're being forced into such a draconian lock-down.

Arse covering for a very poor initial reaction, blame for this can also be laid firmly at the WHO's feet though.

Arse covering for continual cock-ups and wildly wrong predictions.

When you hear it from the horses mouth when they have their guard down then yes, Id be inclined to believe them when they're caught with their pants down and rubbing their hands in glee.

And you just have to follow the money with the Tories. The Track and Trace App and numerous other contracts being awarded to their mates. We're talking billions here.

To say that this pandemic has not been used to line their own pockets is at best naïve and at worse self induced ignorance.

Hey I'm not saying people aren't making huge amounts of money out of this, of course they are that is obvious. But you aren't saying that are you. You are suggesting that these people are making serious decisions affecting millions with the intention to line their back pockets, that is a completely different thing altogether.

APPLE.NEWS

More than 30,000 disabled people had died with the disease by November 2020.

Tragic for those individuals but it does bring into focus the flawed concept of locking a whole population and economy down when the vast majority will not be in the at risk categories. Targeted protection of vulnerable groups that was suggested from the beginning by many and also derided by some may well have turned out a far better long term option.

Don’t apologise for something you didn’t do 🤷‍♂️🙄. There are no medals for occupancy of the moral high ground 🤮🤮
That’s the Hermes Birkin parked for today.

Damn, the UK government proving to have gotten more and more right as time passes.

Will be ignored by the haters but even they must begrudgingly admit that after a rocky start they're doing rather well now.

We've also delivered 10% of the worlds doses to the UK population. Another massive and ignored milestone that the Government should be very proud of.

It's hard to say if this is positive and depends on your view point.

I don't believe in the vaccines as we don't have enough evidence to say whether they could have worse side effects than the virus itself. Over time we'll know if they are effective and/or if they have serious side effects.

Until then it's hard to have an opinion whether the vaccines are a good thing or not.
