Got quieter if anything - got some hedge trimming to price to try and fill august. Got a week booked in for each of September/October and November. Regulars coming back but new enquiries down by at least 50%

Certainly not the usual endless request for quotes, but by no means dead in the water; also got the regular hedge/repeat pollards ringing up on top of the regulars booked in from one season to the next. Tall hedges are such a mixed bag - a pain when you are busy, and a godsend when you are quiet!

Gone very quiet for us. Also now struggling to get the money on jobs that we need. Have tried lowering my prices and that hasn’t helped. We have stayed relatively steady up until this month. We have 4 or so weeks ahead but not many new enquiries coming through.

I think June was deathly quiet, starting to get a trickle of enquiries now so I was getting a bit more optimistic.

News outlets currently enjoying the gas and electric price increase to come so that's maybe spooking some people - certainly my Mrs is thinking about it and we have plenty of firewood.

September is always a big month here for restarting the year, more so than the Xmas break.

The French are very seasonal in their habits, August means holidays, so non urgent work is not thought about.

Lowering prices won't help conversion rates. If anything, put prices up.

We had put prices up a few months back. But last 5/6 weeks we seem to be priced out a lot more on domestic as people look for the cheapest quotes…
