I can. The first one will look good after a bit of rain but the second will look fake and awful every day of the year.

Not knocking your work as you do what the customer wants and you cant buy taste.

No that's fine. There's a call for it and it pays well. Once some leaves drop on it and such it really doesn't look fake at all.

I have done high spec turfing jobs using minster pro lawn on high quality soil and it looks so good it looks fake.

We did a pair of sycamore removals a year or two back, between the garden we were in there was a lane and then the neighbour's garden back of a large terraced house. In neighbours garden  I could see astroturfed golf hole surrounded by plastic grass, cue wind and rain in the right direction. I asked lad I was working for do you want me to stop, answer NO from him and customer. Result was plastic turf man spending 2 days hoovering his lawn.
I tried not to smile too much, you may have guessed  i hate platic grass

Was even funnier when we went back to finish it off the job and the same happened again [emoji50]

Hi all ok just wonder if any of you guys or girls have used it and what brand is a good one to go for , i have looked all over the net and you know how it is to much choice and not enough info .
I am going to do the front garden which is 6 mtr x 3 mtr and 6 mtr x 2 mtrs so looking for any ideas .
i am going to use yuzet membrane i used that on all my allotment projects over the years and all the walk ways to keep weeds away and it is hard wearing and the water passes through no issues , ok over to you lot

stay safe and thank you for any info

Any particular reason why you want environmentally disastrous fake grass over a proper lawn ?

Gladly. That's not an improvement, it's monstrous. Fake grass on anything except an indoor football pitch or whatever is disgusting, anyone who installs it for a living is doing actual, measurable harm to the planet, and anyone who wants it installing needs to take a good hard look at the other options available.
