Trees down and nobody hurt, that's one plus. How it got down though is rather unusual. The outfit they are working  for has felled a tree or two to pay for that vermeer, maybe the bloke who knows what he's doing and the bloke who can manage a site were elsewhere doing a great job.

That looks to me like 3 young lads who've been sent out and told to get the job done. 

With a bit of guidance from someone with experience they would've coped with that, learnt something and had a  positive experience. 

I bet none of the people in the vid own that company. That is the person who is ultimately to blame

thats exactley what i thought, the way he ran away from the tree says a lot,,,,,,

Shocking lack of safety for the self's and others, never mind the other tres that got damaged either.

Would be interested on whether Birmingham  City council parks department know what there contactor do.

Have you seen the other video at the same job site.. They have a bloody great MEWP onsite...

 

Annoyingly this company have just taken over a contract for a housing corporation who we work for and if what I am told is correct they charge 3-4 times what I would... But the housing corporation have to use their approved landscape contractors for tree works..?
