Multitool, who uses them?

This was supposed to be a poll but I fecked it up so it will have to be a discussion

 

Bought this one below and many of them over the years but never really got on with them . Seem a clumsy , flimsy alternative to the proper tools.

I have a leatherman wave that i've had for nearly 20 years now.  The good quality ones are worth the money.  Yes clumsy for most jobs but handy to have all the same

I've got a leatherman wingman. Brilliant thing when camping, boating and the like. As you say they aren't as good as having the 'right' tool for the job. They do get you out of trouble mind.

I use a Topsaw which I think is what the one in your picture is. Found it very handy, particularly for the Allen keys which fit a Husqvarna polesaw/long reach hedgetrimmer.

Like Steve I had a Wave . Had t for years . Someone opened my glove box in the truck and stole it along with a new pair of bootlaces !

I wore a wave for many years until my late friend got nicked for wearing a sheath knife into a shop, as the blade was 3.5" it stays in my bag now and I wear this gift from my granddaughter. It replaces a leatherman mini as it has a torch and a small cross head driver and the little knife stays sharper

I really wish someone would make a decent chainsaw tool out of decent material. The torx bit on my topsaw is rounded because its made of pig metal.

Torx bits round off the bar nut tensioner has split but still brought another as it’s only a tenner ... definitely room for emprovment but can’t see what property’s being magnetic warrants being 30 quid !
