  2. Had a spare day so continued with friends garden - its been a slow one. In 2023 I removed 5 leylandii, one of them large, and a dangerous rotten poplar. Earlier this year I stump ground the bigger two out, the smaller ones were done with mattock. Today started levelling. First job was trim it low and chase the small roots, digging with mattock and spreading with rake. Old before pic Once I get the dirt levelled theres a huge slab of concrete after the path, I'll be letting one of her friends shift that and the path, then more levelling. Plan is to get it flat and grass seed growing before autumn.
  3. You thinking "big cat"? not ridiculing you at all, had plenty of "incidents" over the last 50 or so years.
  4. I'm sure the op is aware of that,as am I, however maybe he will find a way instead of looking for an excuse not to do it. he did after all ask how to find work in Scandinavia, and may have a passport and was looking for a more work oriented reply. Do I need a visa for Scandinavia from the UK? Visa requirements You can travel without a visa to the Schengen area, which includes Norway, for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This applies if you travel: as a tourist. to visit family or friends.

What factors and what sort of price ranges are you thinking? And yes I have enough work, just never want to say no so seeing what can be got really.
  6. Nope, kicked it to the curb! Done it a dozen times over the last 25 years and while I like a show, it cost too much tbh!
  7. Whatever you do decide with the landlord what each of you wants from this, write it in a contract. Remember a gentlemens' agreement is an agreement between two people, neither of whom are gentlemen and neither expects to fulfill his part of the agreement. I can relate a story or two about gentlemens'' agreements. From what I understand you do not have much to bring to the table and are at the mercy of your landlord's goodwill.
  8. Total bollocks Steven. Do you think the current mass ,unvetted immigration is a positive gain for GB or a negative? Here is another example. You and your mates are out for a winter ramble,a storm comes in and your soon soaked, bordering on hypothermic. You look on the map and make a B-line to the closest shelter that happens to be an Army base. Freezing, you plead your case at the gate. Do you A: Get given a grey blanket each and a cup of coffee while sitting in the back of a 4 tonner while the kindly Sergeant calls a cab Or B A pass to allow you to wander the base, use the ablution block,Naafi,Rec room, mess and Bar until you feel like leaving? Which of the above scenarios is more likely and why ?
  9. They do but only in Dutch or French. My French is okish but wouldnt have enough. I have no Dutch at all so going to the uk might be best option

If you are not getting transfer between tanks then all is fine, you may, or may not believe this but I have sealed tanks and holes in tanks, use the very runny super glue, run a bead along the seam, now liberally sprinkle bi carbonate of soda over it, within minutes it will set like concrete, if necessary rub down and re apply, don’t knock this till you try it.
  12. Trying to find a supplier of Cundey service parts, ie drive belt etc but not having much success lately getting through to the bloke who seems to be the main UK man. Any suggestions please
  13. Well I did answer unlike yourself, back to your racist image can you SP or anyone else maybe point out which of these in the picture below of the current Boks team are not South Africans according to the left wing libtard “ racist” criteria set by SP.
  14. Thanks Rapalaman - good to hear How do you find it handles the thicker/more woody stuff? Whilst I see that it has a relatively wide tooth pitch of 35mm the stroke rate is pretty high at 5000/minute. I understand that a lower rate is preferable for thicker stems, and a faster rate is better suited to fine finishing etc.

  16. Thanks Eric. Ive also bought a second hand Grillo Climber 9.22. My thinking was this had the largest engine without being 4WD. 4WD would have been nice, but these are more expensive and there are more parts to go wrong. I havn't felt I have needed the extra traction in the past, but maybe I will regret this. For some reason the tyres have been shifted from tractor tyres to turf tyres, so I will probably return it to aggressive tractor tyres that will help with the traction. Regarding your electrical issues, you might try a 'contact spray' to control the oxidization - the kind that you use to protect trailer electrics? Alternatively I have bypassed all the safety systems in various mowers. I haven't looked at the Grillo's electrics yet, but normally you have one circuit running to the ignition key that needs to be closed by the various safety switches to work. Normally the safety circuit is a different colour from the black/red of the earth/positive - yellow or blue. A bit of continuity testing with an electrical tester will normally work this out. Let me know if you want me to figure out how the safety switches work on mine?
  17. I use 5w30 synthetic everywhere for last 10 or more years so you absolutely fine with that one ! Try avoid w20 very modern C5 oils too thin , I’m testing this on push mover,it’s still working but I only started can’t say what happens in long term!

  21. I had the same problem with the ventilated bags, they settle more than the full ones. I add a low strap around the base of the bags to limit the play, it helps a lot. And I always check the straps after the first 5 km. Mini MilitiaApp Lock
  22. Husky 588 775 502 or Stihl 977 021 2620 both 35 x 5 and fit well
  23. I should do - just too cowardly to get on and do it
  24. Tuna, sweetcorn, pepper, onion, tomatoes, celery and rice with a dollop of mayonnaise! Had this since I was a kid but mine rate it at the same level of sprouts or my legendary chicken chunder!
