  2. I use these, small enough to fit in the arbortech mini pockets, I dont know what the pockets are intended for? 40p each, chop the ball end off with silky and drill a hole for some spare starter cord in a short loop. 503 - Service Unavailable Error WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK I've bought lots. I often drop them , cant tell how many I've lost. I should get some bright orange paint...

  4. In my experience with planning requirements and builders obligations, the builder will do what he wants once the project is started. If a wheel wash is expected, think vac lorry spreading slurry up and down street. If a hedge is supposed to stay, once gone - tough luck. If a junction is to be altered, they'll say no funds available..... As said, the LA has targets set by Whitehall and these 'misdemeanours' are a minor infraction to get to their targets,
  5. First proper hedge job with the Makita UH006, very very pleased with this hedger, its very light. Used one small 2.5Ah battery. Privet, she wanted it reduced hard as it was taller than her, and thined in width, so the brown was unavoidable - it'll grow back. Removed the dead stem. However I did hit the metal gate post and put a tiny ding on the new blade 😭 Pebble gardens are a real pain to clear up if you forget the leaf blower! I dont usually take my own as the other guys will have one. Going back to blow it. Then an oak stump to cut up. The pictures I saw made it look small but this was big, over a meter dia at base and several meters long. Im told it blew down in december, so as far as windblown go, quite disapointing, no tension left and the rootplate just sat there. Oct it looked like this on streetview. Ivy covered, pollarded monster.
  6. Being dismissive of someone because they are not wearing the traditionally 'correct' clothes for an important occasion.. that would never happen As for the cult, Trump himself did facilitate Epstein....
  7. Mmm, I know what you mean, apparently I am talking bollox and it can't happen...what do I know having had a fair number apart and owning a ported pop up piston 357 which rips your arm off....with the decomp valve pushed in on starting!! It never happens 🙄🙄🙄
  8. Im putting my thruppenny pence on HC, syc has more greenage to it. Burn it, if it pops and spits a lot the its prob HC.
  9. I do feel for old Greg, (based on what we know so far). He a bit annoying at times, but I don't believe that he's really a wrong'un. I don't reckon he'll be the next Russell Brand or Harvey Weinstein or anything like that. He's just somewhat of an idiot and a dinosaur who's not kept up with the times. I hope I don't get proved wrong in time! Wallace seeks 'space to heal' after saying claims against him 'not all true' WWW.BBC.CO.UK Wallace stepped away from presenting MasterChef last November in the wake of the claims against him.
  10. Sorry dude, I must have momentarily taken leave of that all important common sense.

  12. FYI Mazda 2 rear shock absorber and bracket is about £100 each (this weeks MOT), Mazda 6 will be a bit more? just if you decide to give yours a proper work out!
  13. Fortunately not, it comes from 20 years landscaping some of the most contaminated land in the uk It happened while on holiday in the USA just about everybody has a skid steer over there
  14. Have a look at new, lease hire etc.
  15. No not at all - was just curious and went down a bit of a rabbit hole.
  16. 2295 I think. You could cut 100mm off the ROPS
  17. Good Morning All.
  18. You have any luck with this Jose? My 800 has faired far better, i think its about 3 years old now, but it just started running like a bag of crap last week. I’m tempted to blame fuel - all of my machines have been run on aspen for about 5 years now, zero issues. I couldn’t get hold of any so had to buy a tank of the husky xp alkalyte fuel. Within the week my t540iii’s spark plug burnt out, my 550ii was running odd and my 800 is basically useless. Big saws are fine though…

  20. I have one of these mowers, drive won't disengage. the tension spring to pull arm away from belt is separated from arm and detached from wherever it hooks to, but I cannot see what it is supposed to hook up to ! any assistance much appreciated !

  22. Have you had the stump removed? If not I would do that first and then remove any big offshoot roots, easy enough to do with a mattock by hand. Bay leaves are fairly waxy so poison will probably run off before it can be absorbed. You can get an additive to help the poison to stick or in the olden days you would just add a bit of diesel.
  23. Good ideas but we'll need to find a government with balls and teeth first.
  24. As a few have stated above, it comes down to geographical location and if anyone else is supplying that type of equipment. In Hampshire there’s already a few companies doing it so most of the client base is sewn up, unless you can provide a similar service for cheaper! In the hire game it’s the service not so much the machines that will hold clients for example my preferred suppliers will allow me to collect the machine the afternoon before or return the machines the next morning without charging an additional day, they also have excellent machine support if the machines go down! Good luck if you do take the jump.
  25. You absolute diamond. Honestly, looked everywhere for them! Thank you!
  26. Remove all the dead if you want, it makes no odds to the tree as it's not being used any more. If you've just moved in then I'd give that a couple of years before doing anything, see if it's going downhill anyway in which case you have your answer. In general removing live branches is taking away leaves which is where the tree makes it's food, so pruning is stress and not great for a tree that is struggling.
