It's really not as bad as it seems. Aye, people are pissed off about declining standards of living, the disparity between the rich and the poor, and the fact the food they used to buy for 2 quid now costs 3 quid (actually that does sound pretty bad). But nope, no pressure cooker. We need to work out who can act in our favour, and ensure that we don't vote for people who might act in the interests of people who don't care about us.

Timberwolf 150 2004 Diverter Valve solenoid Help.......
GarethM replied to Dodge's topic in Maintenance help
Undo the plastic nut and it should either slide upwards it's downward depending which you're trying to remove. You may need to undo the plug connectors if it's a bit tight, but bit of wd40 and rotate it gently if it's a bit seized with crud. Also depends on what the fault is, the controller are known to be a bit sh1t sometimes and there is a bypass built into the wiring loom. -
Yeah nice, so it is.

Anyone managed to fit a new battery to a set of ProComs yet?
Treeman123 replied to Chris Sheppard's topic in General chat
Yes I did it. Little screws to come out but it is possible. Found the same battery on ebay delivered from China. I had a problem where one set wouldn't charge so I thought it was the battery but it wasn't in the end. Cant find the picture of the battery to save my life! -

Nice work Stephen, thirty years ago all the old boys would bleat on about how tracks and trees didn’t work, how things have changed.🤙 Bob

What makes the original such a classic is the brilliant script, so many quotable lines. Here’s a great scene, I love the way the negotiator goes too far with the “we’ll even throw in a Blaupunkt” line.

Hi I'm Italian tree climber currently living in Italy, i started my career in arboriculture 2 years ago. I been working as a ground man for a year and already done tree pruning/reduction/removal on my own. I've an Italian certificate to climb and operate on trees and chainsaw licence. I'm really passionate and I wanna grow up in this world. I currently looking to get hire with a Training position or whatever way will give me a chance to do this job out of my country. After ten years of chainsaw milling my back has decided it doesn't want to haul and stack dirty great slabs and wrestle with a big mill anymore. As a result my 880 and custom 70" mill kit are up for sale in the classifieds. Very happy to do a deal on the complete set up. I can courier or collection from Carmarthenshire.

Stihl MS880 Chainsaw with a Stihl 48" Duromatic bar and Oregon chain. The saw is complete and in full working order with a new Stihl oiler recently installed. It is a fabulous saw which has never let me down. It is still in great order and runs faultessly. It starts every time and oils well, even on much larger bars. It has been well looked after. It is always allowed to warm up and cool down properly and is never left to cool with a tensioned chain fitted. Any replacement parts have been genuine Stihl and it is always run with Stihl Synth bar oil and their two stroke oil. The bar has seen quite a bit of use but is well maintained and still in good order. I have only used the chain once. It has probably done around ten cuts. The delivery fee quoted is to mainland UK but feel free to contact me for a quote for delivery to more remote locations. If you fancy a great Large Log Milling Kit to go with this saw, have a look at my other items.£1,200

Custom Granberg Alaskan Chainsaw Mill 70" With GB Bar and 6 Chains

This is a custom chainsaw milling set-up using MkIV Granberg mill parts complete with a 74" GB Bar and Six Chains. As a package it is more than capable of milling logs up to 160cm in diameter. The mill itself utilises single piece bars instead of the jointed bars in the Granberg kits so as to give greater stiffness. The mill is also fitted with a winch which really reduces the stress on the operator. It is fitted with quick release upright clamps which really helps when making depth adjustments, particularly if you are operating the mill solo. It is in great overall condition, there is a bit of rust on the handle bolts but it is fully functional and ready to work. The bar is a GB 74" .404 bar with nose sprocket and is in good used condition. It is compatible with the large Stihl saws (MS880 etc) and Husqvarnas with an adapter (not included). There is a small drill hole where I was planning to add an auxillary oiler. There are six chains (196 link): One New Oregon 27R Hyperskip. One New Panther Hyperskip. Four Oregon Hyperskip chains with varying amounts of cutting tooth remaining, see the photos to get a better idea. The ones with just a little left are useful if you think you might come across metal rather than potentially waste a new chain. There are also a couple of bags of spare links and rivets. Overall this a great package with most of what you need to get going on milling some hefty logs. Delivery price is for mainland UK. Let me know if you want a quote for more remote locations. Sorry it is fairly pricey but long, heavy packages are a bit costly to pack and send. Collection is available from Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire. If you need a good beefy saw to go with this package have a look at my other listings for a well maintained and reasonably priced MS880 that is ideal for this setup. Thanks for looking.£600

Obviously I haven't handled the Makita, but from what I can see, the specs are virtually identical to the MSA 300. That might make it attractive to folk like my son, who is on the 40v Makita platform for power tools.

By all means. Forays should always be accommodated. A mate of mine made a Squirrel terrine once. That was pretty good. I caught and skinned them, but didn't have the patience for the somewhat tedious butchery, so he did that bit. I've an idea we needed 7 animals for it, as there's not much meat on them obviously, other than the back legs. I'd love it to be on sale in more butchers and even supermarkets. Even just as Squirrel Nuggets if the manual butchery is too big an ask.

Morning, been wet through the night but dry and cold now. A few domestic. Jobs to get out the way today then packing up and heading north for the night to a BnB to save such a long drive in the morning, working in Bettyhill.
