    Mulching for garden

Mulching beds, garden paths etc. Grateful for woodchip, leaf inclusion not an issue as long as not primarily leaf. Please call to arrange. Can be tipped onto driveway. Thanks so much!
  3. Does anyone on here know the procedure for changing the hydraulic oil on a Sherpa 100? I've had mine a few years now and I'm sure it's well overdue a change, but can't find much in the manual. If anyone know the oil brand, type and quantity needed. If a filter needs replacing? and a step by step guide would be much appreciated! Thanks

  5. It's alright, sad sack khan is going to build on green belt instead.
  6. im not asking for it for free. ive got an Ad running too offering to pay. most of the stuff i get in would not fit through your average 12 inch chipper, some of the logs are 2m wide bases, roots, all sorts. OK then, what do most surgeons do with the bits that are to big to man handle, chip or split?
  7. Trump signs order aiming to slash US drug prices to match those abroad | Trump administration | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Health policy experts support the ‘most favored nation’ plan but doubt it will withstand likely legal challenges
  8. Why would they give it away for free when it can go for chip paid loads.
  9. I agree with the negatively around cone splitters on smaller machines or loaders. They really only come into their own on 20+ tonne diggers and a large scale operation. Ive seen one splitting a stack of >2ft wide trees ready for the log processor in no time. This was done in advance of the processor because its so quick, whole trees get split lengthways. I think you can get cone spliters with a grab incorporated, but I've not seen one in action.
  10. Either way he's looking to collect artic loads. I've offered loads of tree surgeons to clear all the arb waste they've got, quite hard to get them to do a deal rarely hear back. Busy I guess. Good luck
  11. Ha, yes it does heat a house, we also use it for grain drying, our wood burner is just a bit bigger than said log goblins. i meant not for resale when i said personal use - perhaps not that clear, granted. its why we can take the big bits, just load them in whole. getting too old to use a chainsaw! any suggestions welcome!
  12. 300 tons for personal use i think not 😂
  13. Exactly what I thought! Almost two tons a day throughout winter.
  14. Ed Miliband's wife and Benedict Cumberbatch object to block of flats near north London homes APPLE.NEWS Mrs Justice Thornton has objected to plans for a six-storey block of flats in Dartmouth Park So happy to have pylons and windfarms stuck up everywhere but not happy to have anything that might bother them 🤔
  15. What Donut?
  16. Depends what you value. Some things are more important than money, to many people. We (the common people) are all going to get poorer. Actually our undeserved wealth is being realistically revalued, this is an inevitable macro economic adjustment and will happen whichever side is in power. The "Left" side is losing cultural control. They still have a lot of control, in the West, but the momentum of cultural power going "Right" is steady. Culture is more important than money.
  17. I agree 42 repeatedly trying to create an obscure link between a Democratically elected president, rape and a forum member with absolutely zero evidence to support it is pretty pathetic. What is the untenable position you speak of ??.
  18. Which ones did you buy? Was it the 18v kit? One thing I dont like is they often have multiple tools of a similar price but different quality. The HP001 is the pro grade combi drill while the HP002 is homeowner grade with half the torque. I'd say the 40v 8Ah, 2Kg does count as high capacity. A bit heavy for most uses, but you'd expect that with 20x 21700 cells inside. They also do a 32Ah backpack battery.
  19. On Makita generally, I confirmed a while ago something I’ve suspected for a while, that it isn’t great. I bought a beefy, pro level pistol drill, two batteries and a double charger. Was pleased as punch. Finally into a battery system of pro kit. This is the first day of the rest of my life. One battery was crap and had to be replaced by the shop basically immediately. I wasn’t blown away by the replacement. And they don’t do high capacity batteries. Then the drill itself lasted a fortnight. I was giving it hard use but you buy supposedly pro stuff to take hard use. Sent it all back and now my choice of a brand to go with (for a decade or two probably) has one less choice.
  20. I had a a cone splitter on my 7 tonne machine and it was hopeless, sold it and bought a westtech cracker instead. Woodcracker L | WESTTECH .:. Woodcracker WWW.WESTTECH.AT you could run it off a spool on your tractor and feed it with the crane on the trailer all from the comfort of the cab. mines actually now bolted to the side of my heizohack
