Morning all . Temp cooler at 2c this morning but feels warmer as that biting wind had dropped off a tad . Off to Fratton for the match this afternoon with Jack . My daighter Charlotte is driving us as there are no trains bless her .

Have to say; it’s not the worst job; I had to get bearings pressed off and on; and is a great lesson in how to deal with other issues such as tightening belts etc. was def bearings as knocks and vibration gone. How long these bearings last is anyone’s ; prob not as long as it’s my first time; with the amount of bearings I have in kit; Im looking at a hydraulic press.

Love to know the price of that

That was its original bar from one of the first 500i , it’s had two nose sprockets on ..one a few weeks before 3 t of ash pinched and rolled on it popping the saw apart anyway.. I know years back I had 200ts which had the spark plugs helicoiled back in … they never lasted though , I’d just buy a new head or saw.

Clearly not oiling right, you need to focus on your maintenance regime before blaming the lack of a sparkplug for a lacklustre performance... 😂

Something tells me that a fresh sparkplug might not change it's fortunes overnight...

I never found the spark plug on this one… would not like to guess where it went 🫣
