As mentioned before I reckon, as long as the electric fuel pump is working, that it will be an air leak. Check the fuel lines or replace, fairly cheap job and easy to do.

I agree that we need to learn to harness AI and use it to our own ends. I have been doing just that with the help of a mate who is lecturing architectural students on its potential. I can see a significant increase in workflow by automating things. I do think that all that data in the wrong hands is a recipe for disaster.

Are the plugs the metal or plastic type ?. Might be worth buying the plastic type with the screw type gland, plus use a cable tie on the inside cable as a belt and braces. The wires shouldn't rip out as the outer sleeve of the cable is locked in the back of the connector. I've had some connectors where if you put a cable tie round nice and tight it stops it pulling back, although my current plug is a metal one I found in local ag dealer and that's been good. Also , it helps to put bootlace ferrules on the wires as this stops them breaking individual strands at the corner of the screw clamp. Won't stop the cable pulling back though.
