  3. yes, I recall that was a later model, an old trick to play when we were kids was to bumpstart an old bsa bantam field bike by pushing it backwards, and then offer a go on it to the many asking, they would put in in gear and let the clutch out expecting it to go forwards, but it went backwards instead. pretty soon everyone had caught on.

  9. My school mate had one, he said it was cooler than a bike, when we were 16. It had a tight turning circle but you could reverse it by switching the ignition on the dash and staring the engine to run backwards. It had a strange electric starter and also the kick start. It would only start in reverse by the electric starter IIRC.

  13. A friend's dad had one when we were kids, we used to drive it to the end of their drive then pick the back end up and spin it round to drive it back. I think his brother still lives there and the Bond is probably still in a shed up the garden.

Its not the saw that's dangerous,its the idiots using it ,if it isn't a top handle it will be a ground saw used off ladders...its about time people who buy a saw take accountability for using it , maybe they will realise how complex and dangerous tree surgery is.
