  2. anybody know what the jaecoo 4x4 is like

  4. Echo has a new one, DCS3500T. 2.2kg plus battery. It can use the 2.5Ah but has no more power than the 2500T like that, 0.9kw. With the 5Ah, doubles the power to 1.8kw and doubles the battery weight, making it 4kg total. 28 cells in the 5Ah battery, they use 18650 cells. Nice idea one saw that can do both jobs. Except the you'd be swapping bars and chains constantly. Pruning I like a 10" and removals I want 14" or bigger. I quite like my Makita UC003 but its not got the same power as my 020T for spear cuts, and the 2511 is still better for small pruning.
  5. Large hillside of Broom, day 4 tomorrow. Boulders and historic rabbit warrens to navigate.
  6. A storm blew through a couple of weeks ago. Finally got round to a job next door. Decent sized Oak went over along with a birch and pine. Spattered quite a few smaller trees. Tension and compression cluster F! Trampoline took a hit. The schools here do a work day and you pay a small fee that gets donated to charity. So my mate brought his 14 year old along as did I. My oldest son work with me during school holidays so he came along as well. Many hands to drag and shift logs. Got a fair bit done and then setup for tomorrow after we winched the root balls back into place, for milling the bottom 6 metres.

  8. Yes I would agree the modern stuff is a lot more powerful, I have had no experience with a lot of the modern car tech as the newest we got at the moment is two 2013 motors! The 20 year old transit is just about doing the business but needs some money spent on it, water leaks, oil leaks, hydraulic oil leak etc, I have to respectfully decline any quote where the have a nice block paved driveway! The price of stuff is mental, probably count me in as one of the moaning old strokers, but stories of clutches every 20-30k, wet belts, ad blue, dpf filters.... Hmm maybe it's worth revamping the old dog !
  9. The thing that I would suggest to check on a 201T is the air filter cover. If its cracked or damaged replace it. Once damaged you can get a lot of dust and crap bypassing the air filter, if it gets really bad so much dust gets through the carb that it can block one of the ports in the black plastic splitter that sits between the carb and the intake boot. I had to put a pot and piston on one once because of this. There was a massive amount of crap inside the crankcase.
  10. Oh , not sure i knew about alot of the of the info when the first freelanders were about but he dropped dead when I was 17 , so that was 1999 I knew about issues with tdv8, v6, and stuff about the freelander one, td5 engines and weird stuff like that . I could walk into any garage , mention his name and get a job within 5 mins . Not sure id ever touch newer lr stuff now ..
  11. I bought mine mainly for carrying 4 candidates and kit into the woods. Didn't fancy a double cab pick up. It's also got the benefit of all the 6 rear seats folding flat to make a bed for when i do the odd trip to the coast.
  12. That's right, mostly shogun running gear. Mines insured for business and personal use work my Mrs as second driver for just over Β£500 per year. There are a few companies that insure Jap imports. Nothing "grey market" about it to my knowledge. Mine was registered in the UK in 2018
  13. The discovery sport is a nice family car. Smaller than the disco. Not cheap but very nice and plenty of power. 240bhp for the big diesel spec. The hybrid is about 300bhp I think. Never towed with it so no idea on that front.
  14. Diaper Don: The comic Noel Casler worked on Celebrity Apprentice for six seasons. Unlike his colleagues, Casler thwarted his nondisclosure agreement, enabling him to tell us what he witnessed over his time working on set in close proximity to Trump. The following quotes are taken from this interview clip and this article: Other celebrities have vouched for Casler's credibility, but his biggest credibility booster is that despite his violation of the NDA no lawsuits have followed. Considering past threats of hellfire litigation from Apprentice producers to NDA signers and Trump's love of suing people into poverty for any frivolous thing, that's pretty huge. I should also mention that Casler originally came out about this around 2019, but when the pandemic hit the story was mostly buried. This discourse was reignited by a recent tweet from former Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger: Kinzinger later elaborated on the scent in an interview: Here is a detailed 1 hr 20 min podcast that interviews Casler about these topics and more. And here's another one. Google 'noel casler trump' and you will find even more Casler interviews on YouTube. There are too many to post here. Enjoy! EDIT: In the linked interview Casler mentions Trump's appearance on WWF's Battle of the Billionaires in 2007, in which Trump tackles Vince McMahon outside the ring and you can see the outline of what appears to be a diaper. => Trump tackles McMahon at 0:55 In the same clip Casler mentions a couple times where he believes that Trump soiled himself on TV while in office, one of which was a press conference with Turkish President Erdogan. => Here's the cut down clip of the moment in question. To prove the audio isn't doctored I'm also linking the full press conference from CSPAN's view and the same conference from PBS's view Casler also mentions a press conference with Sen. Feinstein. => Here's the press conference with Feinstein next to Trump. The questionable moment is at 0:21. There are other questionable sounds throughout the video. I'll let you all be the judge EDIT 2: u/airsoftmatthias provided some other related sources. Trump held a press conference in 2017 after the hurricanes in Puerto Rico. This article has a photo of him sitting down where there's a strange outline in his pants Here's how long-term stimulant abuse (cocaine and amphetamines specifically) damages your gastrointestinal (GI) tract (sources include NCBI papers/case studies): CNS stimulants divert blood flow away from your GI tract and affect gastric motility through the fight or flight response. [1] [2] Long term abuse of amphetamines and cocaine can cause ischemic colitis. In cases of cocaine abuse, this is sometimes referred to as cocaine gut. Colitis can cause fecal incontinence, flatulence and diarrhea.
  15. A reasonably tall hedge on a slope is always a fun combination. To add extra fun, the path was being rebuilt and had lots of freshly layed bricks and slabs. Laurel, yew, yew, spiky pyrocantha covered in Ivy and laurel. Second photo was getting dark and hasnt come out well with the trees behind.
  16. Trying now!
  17. thanks Pete and good luck. You still haven't changed your sig
  18. There wasn't really too much wrong with the physical build, more the ignition timing, carburetion and exhaust design. There aren't too many issues now, the mufflers crack in the middle of the base but the rest of it seems pretty sorted now.
  19. Close enough!
  20. Andrew Mountbatten Windsor (as he will now be known) is getting his final punishment from the family. Difficult to feel sorry for him, that Emily Matliss interview really showed what he was all about.
  21. That's Brad Snelling me old muckerπŸ‘
  22. I have not used it on plastics however the cherry red is excellent for annodising and I believe its the right type for plastics, and may be a good match for the Jonsered? I made an enclosure for some electrics a few years back. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00AQ761Y6
  23. The AT would try to keep the revs down and would succeed unless the air leak became too big for it to do this. If you get a CST read out from the AT, you will be able to look at what the carb is doing at high revs.
  24. It seems Putin is loosing support from his own people . Since he " annexed " 4 regions of Ukraine in 2022 he has only captured 0.04% of the total area with over a million lost men and a huge amount of hardware . He is being lied to by his generals about how well they are doing and men are deserting in droves . It has been estimated that at the current rate of progress it would take him until 2033 to occupy just one of those areas .
  25. been working and missed the thread
  26. No one expects the comfy chair !πŸ™‚
