  2. There is one I use on the Estate I keep my Mill at. I use it to process scabs/backs. They are great machines and take years of neglect and abuse.
  3. Added the pdf below but the basic specs are here I dont like removing lanyards from my climbing saws as I have them girth hitched. While I could use a ground saw, I dont generally bring them just for light snedding. I bought a pair of these, appear to be made in UK and look good. 2 x Chain Saw Bungee Strops Loop Ends And Ring - Label with SWL and ID number | eBay UK WWW.EBAY.CO.UK The webbing is rated at 500kgs and is box stitched unlike many cheaper versions which are "Z" stitched. The small loop is app 2" and the larger loop is... UC030G-PS.pdf
  4. Kram, why would you even use a lanyard when working on the ground with a saw ?? Also, do you have an idea when those Makita saws are coming out? I couldn't get your pdf link to work -I'm interested to see the specs. Thanks
  5. Ideal, post some pics when you get it working.

  9. You need to add your site to the directory and it’s delivered to you https://arbtalk.co.uk/recycling
  10. Still but autumnal here, bright but cold. Hit a deer last night and felt pretty awful on the drive home. Going to spend some time with old folk in Devon tomorrow onwards, batch cooking fir their freezer etc. Got to have a discussion about a memorial service in Inverness as cousin was found hanging in a tree recently. Poor girl at peace after years of turmoil. Dad cannot manage the trip with mums dementia, and we were not that close bit she is still family. Fill, Tough, Knell.

  20. Nope it runs well enough on the 2.5Ah tho I've not taken the 2.5 up a tree or flattened it on the saw, it performs near enough the same with either. My 002 was giving some problems today, repeatedly stalling out on a 10" stem of lime, chain might meed a sharpen or, thinking about it, bits of tool lanyard wrapped around the sprocket 🫣 Usually I clip and tie the lanyard for snedding on the ground, but I didnt tie it the day before, quite irritated about that.
  21. Would there be any fun in us all trying the same starter word? Maybe choose a different one each week or every few days? If so Ill go with moist tomorrow.
  22. I tried SHITE once and it accepted it as a word, so that could be one.
  23. I went through a spell of using "adieu". Now I just go with whatever pops into my head,
  24. At the start I was AUDIO, then Steve set the MOIST challenge and I stayed with that for ages, then had a stint with READY. These days I'm completely random. Never thought that would happen, but I'm a random.
  25. Perfectly put. It's a fine line between making an enemy of your local TA who may or may not understand that they work for the tax payer. I've met too many who beleive they can dictate what works are carried out in a CA without justifying a TPO.
  26. Ah right, I always thought it was vowels at the start. Anyone want to list their starter words? Mine as above are usually peach or audio.
