  1. Oregon files are good, just make sure what you buy is for the chain you use.
  2. I think if ww3 happened we would be fighting within these shores as well from the people that are already here willing to take up arms against us.
  3. I use a Chinese Diesel heater and works well in my workshop, 5ltrs last about 10 hours on full but I normally click it on and off if i'm out there and last a couple of days, exhaust is through the wall to outside, bit noisy though which is the only down side if i'm being picky. My workshop size is approx 35' x 15'
  4. There are always going to be people to put you down, rightly you took no notice, I have employed and worked with women in this industry and never had a problem with there work ethic. Good luck for the future and keep proving them wrong.
  5. Got a phone call from a mate who worked as an Arborist after the 1987 storms we had, got minimal training with a chainsaw but it was good money for the time and done it ever since, passed my exams many years ago but was studying Engineering at the time in college so did them both. Now days it is mostly Stump Grinding and general tree maintenance.
  6. Thanks for sharing, hope you have a full and speedy recovery.
  7. Been using mine for a few months now, wouldn't use else now, brilliant.
  8. Weird aint it? I can spend 24/7 with my animals and enjoy every minute, can't do that with humans.
  9. I use the Husky 135MK2 and it's proved to be a good saw.
  10. That's a relief, no none on the ends of the logs just the bark. Thanks for the reply
  11. I have just noticed I have them in my log pile that i keep on grass at the end of the garden covered with a tarp, this is on an Ash tree though. I also have only seen holes and nothing else, should I be woried?
  12. Saunton Sands in North Devon, been going there since the 70s,
  13. Do you still have any of these for sale?
  14. I have had mine from new 18 years, never failed and been a great saw.
  15. Yep, another yes for Oregon here, top quality.
  16. I have owned a 365 Special for 18 years and it has always done it, the 135 MK2 does not do it but my 881 does do it about as much as the Husky, the 365 and the 881 has the oil turned up to full if that makes any difference.
  17. It is a great saw, I am a Husky fan but I have no problems recommending this, simply stunning. Running the Granberg Milling chains on my 36" bar.
  18. having read numerous post on these pages and elsewhere I thought I would try out some Granberg Ripping Chains, found some at Chainsaw Bars so ordered 2 x 108 chains to run on my 881, the pair of them turn up and unfortunately one was fine but the other one was 98 drive links not 108, so emailed them on the 9th at gone 9 o'clock in the evening, first thing the following morning had an email to send it back and to let them know how much the postage was, I also received a picture of the package of the new one they sent before I returned the old one, the new one was received on the 11th with a Jiffy for return with the postage on it, I did get refunded on the post as I had sent before the new turned up so I will pop that back in the post to them. Everyone makes mistakes now and again but it's how the shops deal with it that matters and I think this was great service, will be using them again.
  19. I've been told by Hayes Machinery that end of March is a strong possibility but then I asked her why they have been delayed and got no reply.
  20. Yep, separated shoulder years ago and numerous other injuries, weren't too bad at the time but now days I feel them all.
