  1. Were you counting crows?
  2. A good bow and decent hunting arrow will take down most things. In the right hands of course and those hands aren't mine. Be good to see a photo of your bows to get an idea what they're like...
  3. Thanks, I was imagining smaller stuff, had no idea these bows could take something like that.
  4. What do the Bretons hunt with the bow?
  5. Do like the one on mindfulness where Alice has a wonderful life due to going out at 5am every morning to eat air while thinking mindfully!
  6. Think they are established Jack, PK17 said they were already in an existing raised bed which has been heightened and soil level raised around 6wks ago.
  7. Was just about to say that things don't really like changes in ground level. I'd guess raising the soil level is causing them problems
  8. Don't forget a cassette player and plenty of batteries too, you could be there a long time
  9. Don't bin it! It's so small you'll always have somewhere to keep it, and as you say it carries all those memories. For me it's the Pulse double CD, early edition with the red blinking light on the box cover. Bought it in Guernsey, remember clearly the hire car I first listened to it in. Must be 30yrs of memories that CD and those songs bring back. Edit... Even bought a car at one point, largely because it had a rear spoiler and was called Pulse (A Proton)
  10. Been working the last 3 days for a client recently moved here from London. He's been very good with tea, cakes and biscuits, all supplied in Pink Floyd merchandise mugs and plates. Turns out he has been responsible for all the re-released, digitally remastered stuff along with box sets etc for nearly 20yrs. Had some very interesting stories to tell, and when I listed the Floyd stuff I've got over the years he laughed and said thanks, you've contributed to me paying for all this tree work...
  11. Was more or less told this by some openreach guys working near us a couple of weeks ago. 2 Sycamore dismantle with line through them, asked if possible to disconnect for us and the answer was what Will said.
  12. But who would they ask to do a report and where would they find them?
  13. Thanks, interesting post. It does seem I'm in the minority (of one!) on this. Never mind, I've often been hard of thinking when it comes to dogs.
  14. I read about half of them and still none the wiser! Out of interest, would you say bellend or good egg?
  15. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/alex-begg-42553a77
  16. Yes that's right, Council tree officer.
  17. I get the feeling KJmbe is reading the 90pages right now.
  18. You could ask your Local Authority Tree Officer to recommend someone
  19. Not sure what AARSE is but could you summarise the opinion on there please
  20. I still think the slots available, timings etc are not his responsibility. He was dealing with the reason for him actually being there.
  21. I agree Andy, it would be ridiculous if he'd done that. But I don't believe he has any responsibility for human lives, that responsibility lies firmly with the Government in my eyes.
  22. Good egg. No problem with him being direct with some twat from government. Considering how the government treat people anyway he's not really out of order, he just said he'd destroy them on social media after all!
  23. Thanks spud, I'll investigate that a bit more thoroughly
  24. Think I'd rather try replacing the spring before using steps! It's not a big problem really, just becoming annoying having to reset the angle so often.
