Morning all. Bit groggy this morning, been a long week clearing willow and dieback ash on a road closure, another day at it today. Saw an ash fell itself, had just felled the one in front and it went over unaided, didn't look in bad condition either but the roots were mush. Had a little helper arrived to tidy the banking up behind us. Have a good one folks.

Morning all. Bushy tailed this morning, up like a salmon as they say, shame it's a Sunday! Makes me miss the dogs as they'd be up for an early adventure at a time like this (except for wee poppes!). Morning all. Decent fettle this morning, been a good week. Got a couple of bigger jobs that were pending completed and the storm work list is completed. We've been a productive bunch and had a good laugh. Even managed to avoid a hellish Halloween drag yesterday which was the icing on the week! Could have been going up that winding, busy garden path and between the buildings behind then across a road but, this worked out. VID-20251031-WA0002.mp4 Have a good one folks.

We've a little chant that we mutter before retrieving the rope guide. You say (to the A-Team tune) "please come out, don't get stuck, please come out, don't you dare get stuck...". Then when it gets stuck anyway whoever didn't say the chant has to go up for it.
