Morning all. Back on the site clearance job today, looking forward to it. Mostly felling large Poplar, some were pretty manky. Inclusions, splits and hangers so the brain was engaged all day but the crane taking the strain. Mustn't grumble. Another thing, no base layer yesterday and just a t-shirt by 9am, was lovely. Morning all. Monday again, far to soon! Starting a site clearance job today, just me working with Tom so I'll be cutting for the tractor, be a nice change from sitting in it. Have a good one folks.

Morning all. Day off, gratefully received. Stayed the night in reekie on Friday night to help with a homer yesterday. Was an easy half day pruning fruit trees and a couple of small fells in good company. Nice to wake up at home with a quiet day to come though. Have a good one folks.

Morning all. Finally Friday, although weekend will have a delayed start as I'm helping a workmate with a homer tomorrow. Emergency job was a long day but went well, first job for that region's new TO, nice guy. By the time we were lifting the trunk out it was the ratchet straps keeping it together. Morning all. Hazard tree to remove today, large Beech leaning over a road with a crack opening up the trunk. TM, mewp, mog and tractor, be an interesting day. Yesterday was good, had our youngster doing a Goat Willow reduction. He's only done a few reductions under lot of guidance but pleased with how he's doing... Have a good one folks.
