Morning all. No grumbles here this morning, good day yesterday and a great sleep last night, what more can you ask. The grapple saw went well, prayers answered and no hydraulic hoses burst which was nice. Starting to get the feel for it but at this point I'm painfully slow compared to Tom. One thing I learned is to pay more heed to the wind when felling with it, I think being in a cab as opposed to hand felling led me to be far less aware and it caught me out more than once. Morning all. Heading back out West to a forestry site this morning. Have a new access route and turning head to finish clearing with grapple saw then a long drive back to base in the tractor. Should be a good day, with any luck the tree gods will look kindly on me and no hydraulic hose issues, just for one day! Have a good one folks.
