  1. Undeserved after the error on two. Wordle 1,318 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  2. What about layers of bamboo mat so you just see the ends.
  3. Took this leaving the yard this morning, it's not just a gratuitous pic of a valtra though. Note on the winch, there's a red redirect pulley in a pocket, it's got a silver shackle on it. At the 2nd job of the day, after 90mins driving, (speed bumps, roundabouts etc) I noticed the shackle was gone, went over to look and would you believe I found it, all of it, shackle, nut and bolt. What are the chances? Should say it was my fault entirely, put the shackle on but neglected to use a securing pin.
  4. Is it Sunday Mick? I've kind of lost track already. I enjoy the nature of it to be honest, and the o/t makes it more appealing still! A seemingly endless list on the iPad of roads closed and cars stuck, just big saw and crane, no tidy up, no TO spec to achieve, comfort of a modern tractor to travel in, could be worse! Have to say yesterday was particularly rewarding, just me cutting and Tom with the crane making things happen very easily, skilled operator.
  5. Wordle 1,317 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟨🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  6. Morning all. Third day on call outs for me, struggling to get going this morning. Busy one yesterday, started off in the yard winching the lorry trailer back upright with two valtra"s which was fun, then it was trees, lots of trees. Have a good one folks.
  7. That's what she said

  9. Morning all. Sounds a bit calmer out today. Was busy for a bit yesterday and be the same today again. Found some damage at the yard when we got back, curtain side trailer getting intimate with a timber trailer, was blustery that's for sure. Have a good one folks.
  10. Knackered, done for the day now, back out tomorrow. MOV_1053.mp4
  11. Whilst telling you to stay at home!
  12. Morning all. Feels like it might be a big day! Having a late start in expectation of a late night, looks like there could be some interesting calls. Have a good one folks, don't blow away.
  13. It worked! Wordle 1,315 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  14. Feeling quite grateful for you stalwarts after my own efforts this morning, gives me some hope for 1,315. Also, I'll be reading Mick's inspirational post again tomorrow to gird the old loins before commencing mein kampf.
  15. Same here, starting later tomorrow and expecting a long, busy shift. We're in a red area, got a warning from government on my phone earlier. The forecast is heavy rain and wind gusting mid 80's but they've been wrong before.
  16. Happy birthday Ted! Many happy returns my good man. Morning all and have a good one folks.

    Lichen

Common Haggis. Specifically Communus Haggii. First discovered when a highland sorcerer fell in a pool of haggis urine (they all urinate in the same spot, having compacted the ground and lined it with lichen). When he was dragged out his previously plain skirt was dyed in a perfect tartan.
  21. I was thinking it could represent my 'hope' chart for the coming week. Predicting a yellow on Square 4-3 and a green on Square 5-4.
  22. That pattern pleases me a lot!
  23. Afternoon all. This idea that the morning is whenever you get round to signing the register seems to be trending lately so I've been influenced! Unlike some, I won't pretend I was up early, I loafed around for ages then finally appeared at the Monday job to cut back some willow. Early bird resumes tomorrow. Have a good one folks.
  24. Wordle 1,311 3/6 ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  25. Another poor day collectively.
