  1. That’s heartbreaking mate . I’ll keep my eyes and ears open and put the word out. Fella got an indespention quad trailer stolen from straiton area last week. Possibly the same crowd .

    Overloaded

I think it would be fair to say we’ve all carried a bit too much at times in the past to get a job finished and had a giggle about it. You evolve and learn though. Take on big jobs you need capable kit. To massively overload on a regular basis never ends well.
  3. It is mate. GD 8x5 Takes 5 minutes to put on and take off. Has all bungee cords and Velcro at tailgate?
  4. I’ve got a custom made cover for an 8x5 caged trailer if you’re interested
  5. First boss used to say the apprentice “was lazier than a glass eye” ?
  6. I am using the rock 12ton with the Briggs engine and it’s been great. Put about 25m* through it in the past couple of months. Modified the 2 handle operation to a single lever as it makes it a whole lot quicker and easier to use on your own
  7. Gas work is a different ball game but waterworks is a piece of piss with modern fittings
  8. Plumbers seem to have a bit of an attitude regards pricing. £500 a shift for turning up with a couple of spanners is taking the piss.
  9. Nith valley September
  10. At 46 the UN diplomat style tolerance of annoyance has now been replaced with Frank doberman on a bad day. And an appreciation of a good cheese ?

    How Bad?

Looks aerodynamic as well. Double bonus?
  12. No tow bar on that one so it’s had an easy life?
  13. Can only say good things about rock gear . You won’t be disappointed in your chipper. I’ve got one and I’ve chogged a fair bit through mine in the past year without any dramas?
  14. Stuck in a hedge or in a shed for years and away they go like they were used yesterday... When we used to park landrovers up at work over the Xmas holidays for 2 weeks they needed the full rescue package. Just goes to show quality lasts!
  15. I would push him for wages on the first 3 days stacking then do a couple of days for free when you’re actually learning something worthwhile. Sounds like he’s just after free muscle
  16. Would say around 4 hours including painting. As for cost I couldn’t guess as I used stuff I had already. But If you counted a length of 1” box section at £20 and then £10 for other bits you wouldn’t be far away
  17. Tried it this evening with net bags and it doesn’t snag. The chequering is smoother than some I’ve seen though. ?
  18. Finished off my firewood bagger project last night. Can’t really take any credit for the design as I just googled some images of what I was generally after. Had most of the stuff lying around so was a cheap build ?
  19. Ready for work..... Yeh after a day in the workshop and a few hundred quid thrown at it.
  20. I use a pcw3000 . Had it just over a year now and it’s been great. Last time I used it was for clearing windblow from a steep banked river channel. Saved the day to be honest. Bit of an expensive buy but will last a lifetime if well cared for

    Well done Echo!

Thanks for sharing your experience fella. I have an echo pole saw and a 360tes in the fleet and it’s good to know their customer service is a priority should a problem arise.
