Just curious as to why you’ve chosen to put your sling so high up when the tree your using as an anchor would be stronger if it was around the base and the winch would be easier to operate if closer to the ground🤔

Is that Walesuan in northern China🤔. The product, video and commentary is a bit Scandinavian? If it was a Welsh video they would say things like - butty, look you, tidy, who’s coat is this jacket etc. Of course they could be using artificial intelligence! If all dog owners were to pick up their dog shit there wouldn’t be a problem then? If when house training puppies and they crap and/ or pee in the house some people rub the pups noses in it? If that was done to the owners who don’t pick the mess up maybe it would help train the owners🤔

264 MPs served in WW1 in some form or other(40%), 24 were killed. Queen Victorias grandson was killed. The landed gentry also did their bit with some family’s loosing all their heirs and so the end of the blood line. Most served as officers and led from the front armed with a bloody pistol. Can’t see that a 20% slope is a reason not to remove the timber. You haven’t stated what size the trees are but there several options for low impact extraction. It’s not all about walking through the bluebells, woodland ownership can be hard work! -

There was a smaller version of this available about 20years ago that was used by several councils. It was like a postman pat vehicle, can’t remember make, think it was Austrian or German. -
Always leave a good layer of ash in the grate to help protect the grate from extreme heat.

I’m talking about the use of willow for something like this. It rots too quickly. Hazel or cleft sweet chestnut is the best. Willow can be put into the ground when freshly cut and chances are it’ll grow - especially if ground is damp. Can we woven in to a living hedge. Willow stakes alone with panels or faggots can be used to minimise bank erosion along rivers and around ponds/ lakes but the problem is if not managed will soon turn into unmanageable trees? I’ve also seen freshly cut lengths planted in two rows a couple of metres apart in gardens and bent over and woven to form a tunnel arch feature.
